> 3 dayOne positive of note: Nicely designed with high screen-to-size ratio. Am hoping the current bugs will get worked out to upgrade this rating.... Despite other reviews: My battery lasts about 13 hours, ugh!; thats less than my 3aXL. And have had zero luck connecting to my Bluetooth speakers or smartwatch, bummer. Cant yet tell if photos are better or worse overall but telephoto shots remain poor. Despite self-isolating and therefore telling the phone it should not password-lock at this address, it locks up every time I go to use it after any more than just a few minutes. Update: Smartwatch & remote speaker have linked up with phone and so that warrants upgrade from 3 to 4- rating. The other concerns remain. Google does continue to make sometimes small but worthy refinements with their new models. Side note: I use ADW launcher which works satisfactorily. Have yet to find an excellent weather app as a clear, bold multi-day weather banner above app icons on home screen.

> 3 dayPhone ringtone is a mess, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesnt, and the worst part is that there isnt vibration either! I have to be looking at phone constantly to know if someone is calling.

> 3 dayDisplay is gorgeou, responsive inputs even with large figers, stellar sound quality and great camera for the price range. Awesome range of both usb and wireless device support, great cpu power for the cost, really good battery life unless you crank up brightness and run gpu heavy apps as expected. Be sure to invest in power banks for streaming games and other media as well as native android games. 5g is glorious if verison ever lets visible out of that strangling grip and raises those caps a bit I will be a happy camper. This phone is wonderful though. Well worth the price.

> 3 dayShort and sweet. My first venture into a Google phone and like everything Google it is the best. The layout and functions are easy to navigate and as for the camera, better than my Nikon. The display is crystal clear and it comes with an earphone jack which for me is great because I love to listen to audiobooks and my wire-less earbuds lose power too often. More features than I have time to go into but I can say more than others. Just a novice review but by a very happy buyer.

> 3 dayGreat phone. Great camera. My one issue is a little technical. I would like to sort favorites into folders from my Camera selection of photos. Instead, favorites get their own folder within Camera which is separate from the other folders. I cannot select photos from Favorites and move them to folders from there. I can only create a private album from favorites. Its not intuitive. It makes sorting my pictures difficult.

Greater than one weekI bought the phone in early September and really liked it, awesome battery life and for me, had all of the features I needed. Just over 2 months since I started using the phone it died. Went to bed one night with a battery showing 80% and it the morning the phone was off, could not get it to turn back on. Contacted the seller and all I got from them was an email stating: hello, the 30 days return period expired. please check a different charger and cable. if issue persist, call google or 3rd party repairs. water damages are not covered. I did notice that if you purchase the same device today, from the same seller, the return window is open until January 31 2022. Real shame I had to buy the phone when I did. Trying to find support for a dead phone is useless on the Google website, just keep going around in circles and when you call them the message is Due to the Pandemic, we have a minimal support staff, please check our website for help then they hang-up. I wanted to buy an Android phone from an American company, guess not. Looks like Ill be sending more of my fixed income to china. Really bad time to be retired in America, really feel Ive been scammed.

> 3 daybought it November 2020 the phone does not worth the 599 dollars i paid that time.i have it for a little less than three years and it is getting warm very easy regardless of my desperate attempts to update it and solve the problem. Finally i thought to change the battery so that i can solve the problem because when i first bought it i did not have an issue of over heating. The people that i took it, said to me that they would not try and put a new battery because the screen is paper thin and it brakes very easily . So i have to buy a new phone because battery plus screen is almost 140 dollars.

> 3 dayI have to say I really like the phone. BUT when I tried to get service I could not because the unlocked phone I bought from Amazon IS LOCKED and could not be unlocked according to their tech department. Only recourse is to return it. VERY DISAPOINTED. It was the perfect size for my hand. I dont understand how they did not know it was locked. Seems like a lot of things I have bought lately do not match the description on Amazon and land up getting returned. The convience of Amazon is turning into a real hassle.

> 3 dayThe clean Pixel look and feel at 5G on Metro combined with a earphone jack is a great buy! The stereo is better than my Pixel 2 or ZTE ZMAX ever was and the battery Life is nearly 2 days (YMMV). Put it in a nice case and the LK glass screen protector to keep it pristine during my skiing and hiking (I hope). Almost the same size as my Pixel 2 but almost a full inch bigger screen with twice times the storage.

> 3 dayI know Im more than likely the rarest type of user for smartphones, as I dont particularly care about the camera, I dont think facial recognition is particularly practical, I rather not use fingerprint security because honestly Ill forget my password otherwise. Im also neither a gamer (at least not on mobile) nor do I use it as my primary work tool (thats what the desktop is for). I am however a rather clumsy person who uses public transport, and this phone is NOT up to that kind of use. The construction of this phone is too thin, round and smooth to be practical for pocket carry (without a case, and screen protector). I do enjoy listening to music, and I have to say while I dont ever expect anything fantastic from a phones speakers (I use headphones for that), they are not only surprisingly weak but have a pretty heavy skew for the bass tones which is bad because I need a strong mid range for alarms and notifications. Talking about the speakers and the flimsy construction. It is worth noting that this phone is soo thin and the bass skew is soo strong that the whole phone feels like its vibrating along with the music, even when its at medium volume. For the speakers to rattle the phone this much, I feel safe in saying that this phone wont survive 2 years of city use. As for software, hardware. Stock Android is the best android so no complaints here, and the hardware is almost too powerful for what I use it for, and I have no doubt this power for the phone SERIOUSLY contributes to its middling battery-life. While new the battery lasts about 12 hours of constant use, but as the phone ages I fear this will rapidly turn into 2 hours, and that contributes to the feel of disposable phone. This is a phone that REQUIRES a strong case and screen protector to be even remotely durable. Overall its a decent phone but not one I can recommend
