Greater than one weekI took it out of the box, turned it on, answered a few inquiries, then was up and running. Its a fast, thin, light phone. It charges quickly and holds a charge, easily, for two days. My only complaints are that is is very smooth and a tiny bit too tall. These make it easier to drop. But I adjusted and those details no longer bother me.

> 3 dayDisplay is gorgeou, responsive inputs even with large figers, stellar sound quality and great camera for the price range. Awesome range of both usb and wireless device support, great cpu power for the cost, really good battery life unless you crank up brightness and run gpu heavy apps as expected. Be sure to invest in power banks for streaming games and other media as well as native android games. 5g is glorious if verison ever lets visible out of that strangling grip and raises those caps a bit I will be a happy camper. This phone is wonderful though. Well worth the price.

> 3 dayIt works. Slower than my Poco phone. But Im trying to switch towards other brands and thats why I chose the Pixel. It makes a lot of noise when you use a wired headphone. As if it picks up the noise when the headphone wire rub against anything. Pictures and videos look good. Very light phone!

25-11-2024I will keep this review short and sweet. I got this phone mainly because Qi charging was listed as supported. [17] Qi-compatible. Wireless charger sold separately. No. It is not Qi-compatible. If you want to charge it wirelessly, you need to buy a receiver -- not the same as a charger. Even with a receiver you will still need a charging pad. Ive seen all sorts of misleading information about this feature and Pixel phones. Some even saying that wireless charging support came in around Pixel 3. According to Google -- this phone does not support Qi charging. If you want the wireless charging, get the Pixel 5.

> 3 dayIts pretty great so far. There are some issues with service but thats just where Im at work lol. But its great. Works with Straight Talk!! Update: Switching from a Note 8 to this has been a bit difficult but not too bad. Theres some functions I wish this had (but can mimic ok) that are on the note series phones but all in all its been a great perchase. And HOLY SHEEET the pictures and video are awesome. Great phone for the price point. My only gripe is the screen could stand to be a bit brighter in the sun. Thats it though.

> 3 dayI am amazed with the great and quick delivery of this phone! When I opened it, i am very pleased! It surpassed my expectations, the setup was quick and its a good phone with superb matte black design which I adored and the camera was perfect! I am happy with my purchase however i give it 4 stars since theres bo back button wherein we can go back to our previous tabs! But so far it passed my standards! Thankful since i got it for a good price! Better than paying 1,000 dollars for a smartphone! So if you are thinking to switch like me , dont hesitate to buy this! Its worth it!!

> 3 dayI received my 4A 5G with much excitement, with high expectations based on reviews i had seen before. However, there some things that I had to note. Pros: 1. Compared to most of my previous phones, the sound quality was pretty good. I wouldnt think a typical user will be disappointed with the output of the speakers. 2. Screen quality wasnt bad. This isnt a flagship and so comparisons to one wouldnt be fair. 3. The fingerprint scanner was pretty fast and accurate. 4. If charging before bed, the battery would last throughout the workday and evening for me with moderate use. 5. Love the camera. It was a major reason for purchase and it didnt disappoint. Cons: 1. While the phone did facilitate a transfer of settings and data from my old phone, it didnt do so all that well. Photos did not always come across in their original albums, and worse (for some reason) didnt all keep the dates. the result was a jumbled mess that took ages to rectify. It was made worse with the fact that the phone didnt come with USB-A connection. And No, google photos only made it worse, sending tonnes of jumbled images i did not want backed up, to my drive. 2. while the stock android experience is great in that it leaves you free from bloatware, the apps preloaded (which largely can all be deleted) dont always compare to the contemporaries used with lets say Samsung. I had far more control and enjoyment using their photo gallery, integrated readers, and even the phone app. As an example, If a contact had multiple numbers assigned, I couldnt easily determine which had been used most recently without scrolling down however far to find it. Samsung took far fewer steps to show all numbers for the contact and the dates/times connected. The lack of bloatware meant id have to load items to be able to function, so I had to get a new gallery app, and pdf reader. 3. the largest issue i had was that in the setup process, the phone was alarmingly warm. This was far worse than the setups of any of my previous phones, even the so called cheap and slow ones. I also noticed it got warm again (though not as significantly as during setup) at points when multiple applications are running. Those werent big apps either (e.g. scrolling through the notes app while on a call). Edit: Since my original post Ive noticed that during video calls, the phone regularly got hot; alarmingly so. restarting and ensuring multiple applications werent running at the same time didnt seem to help. In one instance I was in an airconditioned car, with sunlight on the phone, though not particularly hot to the point where Id even sweat. The phone within three minutes gave an overheating warning and started to shut down functions. Im still a bit concerned given the fact that my previous lower specd phones did the same tasks without overheating to this degree. How will the phone hold up if Im in the warm outdoors for a protracted period and need to maintain contact for emergencies.

> 3 dayI havent purchased a new phone since the Note 5 came out. Finally had to get me an upgrade and this phone is full of surprises. I love the fingerprint reader. I also have an iPhone 11 but Im not a fan of the face reader. The battery life is AMAZING. I usually work 10 hour shifts and even with me using Spotify, live YouTube streams and the like i still go home with 50% battery. I love this line of phones.

> 3 dayYeugh.... I was excited about the spiffy camera, mostly the reason I bought it. But it turns out its full of bloatware, and Google apps completely take over all your interface. Contact app was a mess, first had to figure out how to remove all the email contacts synched to it and once I did, the remaining contacts were uneditable. Maybe a bug? The stupid black search bar on the homescreen is unremovable, so I after much forum searching I had to actually had to download a Launcher app to customize my home/side screens to get that out of the way. I dont like haptic feedback on my phone (the vibrations when touching) so I turned it off, but I was still getting them when using the keyboard tool. I also did not like the weird low sounds of the keyboard tool instead of a regular click or tap sound, so either I had to download a new app for that (which there arent many for Android 11 or Pixel) or just ignore it. And unfortunately all these new phone models are so large, so if you have small hands, it makes it difficult to grab the entire phone comfortably while touching the screen. So have to go one-handed mode, plus have a finger loop or something to keep it in place while you use it. But I cant reach the opposite top of the screen anyway. Battery life is good, video stabilization is good. Didnt try many other features before I gave up and returned it. Now just waiting on my refund and hoping we get some decent smaller models on Samsung...

> 3 dayLove the camera. The wide angle lens is proving really useful during our trips. Also happy that the aspect ratio is by default 16:9 (my husbands iphone 11 keeps reverting to 4:3 which was annoying). Im happy this particular pixel still has an audio jack and a finger print scanner at the back instead of being replaced by facial recognition. I prefer the finger print scanner to be located at the bottom front (like in my moto g6) as it would have been easier to access but I understand why its designed to be in the back instead. Overall, really happy with this phone.
