great racing game

Just a complete POS. After spending basically a day trying to download the excruciating 22 updates one by one since the download functionality doesnt work right, then get in the game, and cant even race. Somehow, you must have to actually do stuff to use the arcade mode? Please, do not buy this game. Im probably going to swallow the loss, trash the game, and go back to GT5. How much does this company hate their customers?

Graphics are Outstanding and gameplay Is do realistic! I recommend this game to anybody who absolutely loves car racing games or driving simulators!

I have loved the series up until now. First off they force you to buy a crap car. Probably in hopes that you will buy points from PSN. As soon as you purchase it. All the other better cars unlock. But your money is gone and you cant buy them until doing the same old boring tracks from GT4 and GT5. All they did was clone out GT5 and moved the buttons around for the rest of the gameplay. 60$ down the drain. I wish I had waited for it to be 6$ at GameStop.

Basically lets you live out a car enthusiast fantasy, having a selection of cars and tracks that span automotive history, along with some original tracks that are quite fun to drive and pretty to look at. Racing is simulation style, so lots of breaking, throttle management, etc is required. Moderate learning curve, especially in faster races.

Someone gave me a clean version of the game. Went to run it. Must update, okay no problem. Next Day, more updates.

Good racing game. I wouldnt, however, call it a simulator (look to titles like GTR on the PC for that). Still, a solid console racer, with tons of cars and pleasing graphics. Would recommend this to owners of a PS3. For the ultimate experience, make sure you use a wheel (Driving Force GT is a good choice).

Incredible improvement over the previous installment. The game is constantly and actively being updated by Sony, so there is always something new to do. The AI is vastly improved and more aggressive [much like GT2] as the drivers dont just blindly follow a pre programmed line and will bump you back if you are aggressive toward them. Better graphics, more cars, lots of events and online exclusives. The best GT game thus far.
