Gran Turismo 6

Bought this for my husband and he is pleased so I am too

Couldnt get it to download correctly for my PS3. Unplayable...

I bought this in Nov. 2014. I installed it on my Ps3 with no trouble (then), It was impossible to win a race without using a steering wheel so I bought a G27. After a lot of trouble installing a game from RockStuck, I had to format my hdd. A nightmare started when I tried to reinstall GT6. There are 13 Gb of updates required to play this game (now). At 27 Mbps download speed it still took a couple of hours to get them all (21 updates). Then I waited 3 hrs for the last step of estimated 5 minutes left (do not turn off your machine). DO NOT BUY THIS GAME!!!!

NOT AMAZONS FAULT: This game does not works, it will not load. I have exchanged it 3 times and no luck. Will never be buying a Gran Turismo product again, I hope none of you do, this is ridiculous.

I was a huge fan and spent many hours playing Gran Turismo 5 so naturally I couldnt wait for the next installment of the series. All of the great aspects are still there plus new cars, new tracks, new weather, and a nice redesign of the main interface. The graphics remain incredible with increased detail from the in-car cockpit view and the physics engine continues to demand a realistic approach to racing. My only true negatives to comment on are the lack of realistic damage on the vehicles and lack of customization of vehicles, but all in all its still a great buy.

I have played every GT game and they never disappoint me. I have seen many say this is the same as GT5, if by the same people mean you race around a track I agree. The controls feel a bit different to me(I like them more) the way the structure of the game is better setup IMO and the graphics are great.

If you know the GT series, then this is a natural progression. The physics are changed slightly from GT5, but remains a good game/simulator.

Must be a first edition.Took 2.5 hours to update. Gran Turismo never fails to deliver, and I cant complain at the price I paid, just be prepared to wait a while to play if you update it.

Ive played Gran Turismo 5 since it came out, and in my opinion it was one of the stand-out games that really defined the PS3.. If you liked/loved GT5 like me, please dont buy GT6, you will be sadly disappointed. While indeed there are improvements in the game in some aspects, the game as a whole is becoming a huge letdown to the legacy that GT5 created.
