> 3 dayA nice progression in the series, this version has some very nice new cars. Many of the old tracks are still here, and the new tracks are fun to learn. The graphics are a step forward, and look very good in many places. I was not happy with a few of the interface pages for upgrades to your cars, but overall I like this version and am happy with the purchase. Still using my PS3.

> 3 dayFor being Playstation flagship racing game and waiting for ever for it to come out, it is the best arcade racer ever. But Forza 5 is a much better simulator. The game is very good as far as wanting to play it over and over again. Sony has developed a system where if you play it every day you get more prize money at the end of each race that is really great as opposed to having to pay real money to level up faster in Forza. But on the graphics and physics end Forza is a much better game.

> 3 dayFirst off, let me start by saying that this game does take quite a while to install - that is because Polyphony Digital has released so many updates that the installer has a tough time handling them and... well... you wont exactly be playing this game as soon as you put it in the system. It took my system around 2-3 hours to download and install the update and game data, and it took the game about 2.5 hours to prepare the update data, so I ended up waiting just under 6 hours before I could actually play the game. Also, the progress bar and estimated download time are nonsense and inaccurate, dont freak out because it says it needs 900 minutes to download- it doesnt. That aside, this game definitely feels more newbie-friendly than GT4 and GT5 which for me was a bit of a bummer as the game walks you through every little aspect from the start. The menus do seem to be a lot more organized and intuitive, and the dealerships are now organized by continent so that we can throw away the trash and skip right to the European cars. Unlike previous installments, this game does not allow you to shop used dealerships for a good car but rather forces you to grab the Honda Fit which really was a disappointment for me as I do enjoy being able to pick my own car. A huge feature that they have added in are the Car performance points which provide a way to limit what type of cars you can use in certain races. For example - the Honda fit has 350 performance points, and a Lamborghini would have 7-800. This means that you can no longer lap everyone at the sunday cup, or use a totally OP car in a well paying race. They have also redone the license tests- they are now much shorter and are mandatory in order to move up to the next skill level. Each skill level has a small amount of races, they no longer have a full page of weirdly specific championships. The driving is great, the cars seem to grip the road a bit better than in GT5 which provides for a driving experience that is truly unique to this game. The claim More than 1200 cars on 33 locations with 71 layouts doesnt quite go into enough detail. Sure, there are 1200 cars, but half of them dont even have interiors which takes all of the fun away from driving in first person. Aside from that, there are a ton more tracks in this game than GT5 which is a plus. All in all, I think the price paid for this game is well worth it - just make sure you allocate enough time to download the game so that you dont have to leave your system running overnight.
