Green Water Tracing & Leak Detection Flourescent Dye - 1 Gallon

Used it to test an under drain system. Worked great.

I put about a 1/4 of a gallon in a chilled water loop on a yacht to find leaks and this dye is easily detected and works great. The system has about a hundred gallons of water in it. I could have used less product. Easily cleans up if you spill a bit. Just rinse with water.

This did absolutely nothing for finding a leak in the ground. Turned my pond a very lively green but in the area where the water was draining I was expecting the same color to come out. Clear as a bell. I was trying to determine the actual level where the leak was originating from. Nothing. Just clear water.

I used this to trace a sewer pipe leak and to trace buried downspout pipes that were leaking. A little bit goes a long way, as I found out, when I turned the entire downstream creek behind my property bright green. :)

Great product. This is a substantial amount of dye for the money that can dilute to 12000 gallons. I was able to find my roof leak with it. Plenty left over to do other things!

Found the tub leak, wasnt anywhere near where I thought it was. This contrast lead me to the culprit

Worked well showed my leaking leach field location and my leaking sump pump line. Dumped it at night and showed up outside within an hour with a glow light.

Arrived damaged and all leaked out so I never got to see how it would work. Bummer

This stuff is great pour a bit into the washing machine to find out where it was leaking and sure it enough it helped me find it
