> 3 daySuper easy to install. Stupid sturdy. The charger lead cable is huge but it is not hard to bend or manipulate. Already seeings the benefits of 40A charging vs my 30A ford mobile charger. No need for smart features since the truck has that all built in. Highly recommend this charger. The actually charger or box is smaller than I imagined. Installed this outside under a covered patio and we get 120+ degree weather in the summer so well see how it does in Mid July.

> 3 dayThis is a very well built charger. Heavy duty says it all. I looked at several chargers and found this to be the best value. Easy to install and worked perfectly. I called the company and asked some questions. They were receptive and friendly. There are cheaper units out there but I wanted to be able to communicate if needed. The price was very fair too. Recommended fully without reservations.

> 3 dayThe Grissl-e charger works great. Just plug it into the 240v socket and start charging with the 24’ heavy duty cord. This Level 2 charger fully charges my PHEV(33mi) electric battery in approximately 1hr 50min - wicked fast:) The Level 1 charger that came with my Tucson took approximately 24hr. I would buy this again and recommend to my friends n family. Heavy duty cord and construction. Its built for outdoor use. I did not install the plastic holster since its in the garage.

> 3 dayIt did not come, though, with a good hook for the cable only a small plastic contraption to put the charging device itself into

> 3 dayBuilt like a tank, works without fail, worth every penny. Would not hesitate to remove this from the wall (did I mention the quick release mounting plate) throw it in the trunk, and use it on an RV hookup while tent camping. Waterproofing done right, cord grips, gasketed metal enclosure. Not cheap plastic clamshells like you get with similar lower cost products.

> 3 dayVery basic, but excellent. Don’t need a smart charger since the car handles most aspects of that. When our electrician first installed the Nema plug, the grizzle didn’t work. Called tech support, who said the blinking light indicated there was a short in the circuitry, which my electrician initially denied. Sure enough…for not being smart, it told us all we needed to know. We’ve had it now for 7 months and love it

Greater than one weekIt was easy to setup up and use. Ours is in our garage on a 40A circuit. We set the the DIP switches for 32A but had to change the switches for 24a. When we used the 32a, our 40a breaker would trip. We are charging a Jeep Cherokee 4xe plug-in hybrid. It took over 12 hours to change fully with the 110 charger that can with the car. Now we are charging it in 2 hrs and 38 min. Switching to 24a did not hardly change the charge time indicated on the car dash from 32a setting. This setting probably is easier on batteries.

> 3 dayThis charger is UL listed, which was a basic requirement for me. Im not a fan of IoT devices or smart anything. I see them as a security liability as ransomware and cyber crime escalate (not to mention govt surveillance). There are also a lot of reviews of smart chargers where chargers are bricked by a software update, or cant charge while updating, or removes some feature they liked via update. The Grizzl-e doesnt do any of that. You set it up and it just works. The mounting process is easy. The holster is functional and solidly supports the cable and plug using the supplied anchors on drywall. The case is heavy but not in a bad way - more in a this is built to last way. The cable is thick and makes the cord that came on my factory Bolt dual charger look puny. The cable is made to last. Changing output is easy - remove 4 bolts and flip some switches according to the manual. This unit was recently featured in a teardown on Munro Live. They loved the simplicity and added safety of physical fuses. This charger doesnt offer any bells and whistles, but this is a great value for someone who doesnt care about all the data mining and checking on things with your phone and just wants something simple and built to last. Set it up and it just works.
