It is advertised for coolant specifically but can be used for oil changes also. Only downside to this is there’s no rack to sit your filter on while it drains, but that isn’t accurate due to it being made for coolant.

Iv owned a bunch of these over the years. This is by far best one iv owned ! Just a step up in quality and design. Love the multi channel drain design.

Ive only used flimsy oil pans before and this was great. The cap seems to seal well from minor drips after emptying. I bought one for oil and one for coolant. Loved it and Im glad I bought a second.

This pan which I use for oil is great. It will hold all the oil for my truck or tractor with plenty room to spare. It pours out better than anything I have ever used, without spilling. It is easy to clean, and I can hang it up when Im done. And of course I will use it for anti freeze also.

If you work on your vehicles heating system this is a must have.

This pan is very useful and easy to empty.

Fit under a pretty low car, the lip at the top kept spills to a minimum.

Room mate had one of these, used it a few times and bought this one. Excellent for the price. The pour spout is great if you drain your coolant for whatever reason ...you can run it thru a strainer and back into the system with ease.
