> 3 dayI tried all the others and they are made in China and a few months and they burnt out. The ballast are worthless. This company seems to know what they are doing.

> 3 dayNicest feature is the ability to install it anywhere without concern over where the joists are. The selectable color temperature is a nice feature. I would have liked a slightly warmer option.

> 3 dayGreat 6” recessed wafer lights. However there are two driver box styles, one with the switch directly on the side and one with the switch offers to the side. The style with the switch directly on the side has a poor internal layout that is much harder to work with when wiring, to the point I’d consider returning them for the other style had I not already fought through installing them. For the better driver boxes I’d give five stars, but for the other driver style I’d give three to four stars just because of the inconvenience.

06-06-2025I have over 115 of these in my newly built house. After just over one year in the house more that 4 of these lights started flickering. Other than that issue these are great lights. I have 38 of them on a 13-1/2’ ceiling and they work perfectly.

> 3 dayI dont give too many 5 stars, but when compared to another brand I bought these Halo lights were much better. Most of these type of lights look exactly the same, are easy to install, and are far more energy efficient than the old style of lights. The thing I liked about the Halo lights was, when used with a dimmer switch, they had an excellent range from bright to very very dim. These Halo lights cost more than the other brand I bought, but for me the dimming range made these lights worth the cost.

> 3 dayEasy install. I have experience with electric so that was a plus. When replacing an existing light, the joist that it’s affixed to may be an issue. The setup for this light is between 2 joist since it just locked in to the drywall. Trying to use an existing hole near a joist wasn’t going to work so I had to move it over a few inches so the light can sit flush in the ceiling. This created a hole a little bigger than the light and I had to do some minor repair.
