> 3 dayEnsure you have some j-box wire seals or similar. Easy to pop in the ceiling.

> 3 dayI wasnt sure if the electrical box could be touching insulation or had to mounted higher up on a truss or rafter. The instructions say to mount the box per local electrical code which is completely useless for the DIYer. I ended up mounting the box to the top of a truss just to be safe but that limited where I could place the light because the cord from the box to the light is short.

Greater than one weekVery easy to install compare to cans. I have it plugged to a dimmer switch. Looks great and has good brightness. However the only downside is that the color selector is not accessible unless you take out the light and change the jumper switch. So make sure you like the color before installation. I wish there was an easy way to change the color. Overall better than everything else.

> 3 dayWow is it bright. I planned to put 3 in our walk in closet. After installing 2, we decided is was bright enough. Very easy to install. I used the box cut out to their template. Made it easier to draw on the ceiling. Use a stud finder to make sure you don’t hit anything. Plan on getting more and try the 4” size too.

> 3 dayVery easy installation and light “color” selection. Very nice upgrade from the 70s gold incandescent can lights that were in the house we purchased.

> 3 dayThe brightness on these is nice and its great that you can adjust the color temperature. Small rim though on these lights are a complete deal breaker though. With the provided template you only have about an 1/8th inch tolerance going outside the line before it won’t be covered by the rim of the light. If the drywall gets even a tiny chip while cutting the hole it will be visible after installation.

> 3 dayI did not purchase these LEDs from Amazon or from any store. I hired a local electric company to provide and install the LED lights in our kitchen ceiling (got rid of the old florescent tubes). They wanted the install the 6 Direct Mount Baffle Trim LEDs, but I wanted the thinner one because they look nicer and they sit flush against the ceiling. They only stick out about 1/8 inch from the ceiling surface. Also, this model has adjustable color temperature switch. Since this is the first time I used ceiling LEDs, was not sure how many I needed or where to place them. After telling the electrician what I would like to do, we decided on six LEDs and the placement would be in the pattern of the number six on a dice. This pattern would give the best lighting coverage for all areas of the kitchen. After installation, we turned on the lights and wow, the entire kitchen area was very bright. All areas of the kitchen had perfect lighting coverage. We set the LED temperature to 4000 because we wanted it to have natural lighting. Everything was perfect.
