Hangman Anti-Tip Kit to Prevent Furniture Falling-Steel (TK-400-2)

Ordered part for a bookshelf, in fear that my children may tip it over. Unfortunately, the cables were missing and I was never able to install this kit. However, I did receive a refund.

Works good and easy to intall

We mounted this to a shelving unit we bought to prevent it from falling on our kids should they pull on it. It works very well at holding the shelving unit up. I would recommend this for all the dressers or shelves in the house.

Too complicated of a system. I ended up using the brackets without the pin and just drilling it strait through.

Easy to install. Seems sturdy.

As was outlined in other reviews, the cable end is only crimped on one side, making this item unusable.

These were very easy to install for my new bookcases. You just screw one bracket into the wall and the other into the back of the bookcase - just be sure to attach it to a piece of actual wood, not the thin backerboard on many shelving units. It is very sturdy and stayed put when I tipped the shelves forward to test it out.

So far so good!

Was very easy to install. Seems strong and will prevent tall cabinet from falling. Would recommend.
