11-06-2025Wow, I never even knew you could mount a TV without having to find studs, and drill holes. And then one day, I saw someone show this in a YouTube video, and my life was forever changed! I bought this, hung my 42 TV in less than 10 minutes with absolutely no problems at all! Its the best TV mount for people who rent and still want their TV mounted. I would definitely recommend this product, its amazing!!!!

> 3 dayI was a little skeptical at first because I have a 55”and I didn’t think it would work, but it did. It was so easy to install and it’s perfect for apartments because it didn’t cause a lot of noise while installing. I think I used about 15-16 nails and it’s holding up just fine. A 2nd person to help you install would be ideal, but I did it on my own.

10-06-2025It works! I hung my kids’ 50” tv up in their room. You use 20 nails to attach the piece that goes on the wall. There is also a security thing you screw into the wall at the end, if you’d like. The piece that attaches to the tv is really just 2 bolts. So simple. Honestly, the hardest part was my short butt hanging it myself. I have to use a step stool, stand on their dresser, so I could see over the top of the tv, and use oven mitts, the ones that have the grippy side on them. But I got it done by myself! I love it. One of my nails made it into a stud. The rest are just in the drywall. But that’s because this place has extra spaced out studs. I love it.

> 3 dayMy intentions were to review after 6 months and then again after 12 months. Ceiling mounts used in other rooms weren’t an option & wall mounts were frustrating because I didn’t want to struggle with a stud finder or to create unnecessary holes in the wall due to human error (mine). So I found this stud less wall mount. I installed this 5 days ago & on day 3 & 4 we had an earthquake and an aftershock that felt larger than the initial earthquake the day before. It’s still holding up. The only big deal to point out is that the included leveler is NOT reliable. I learned this from the reviews before purchasing. I used the included leveler and not that I had. They showed different readings. I went with my level based on previous reviewer recommendations & im satisfied. The next step is to get cable management strips to hide the cables. I’m planning on getting ones that can be painted & that can hold more cables than I have so that way I have room to grow without having to make any additional purchases. For the price, quality, and reliability, I think this is a great choice. After mounted, the tv won’t tilt or swivel. It’s fixed. So also keep that in mind.

> 3 dayIm an engineer and I really appreciate an excellent design. This thing was designed by an engineer - simple, elegant, flexible. And inexpensive. The use of pin-nails instead of bolts means that you can position it anywhere (not just where there are studs behind the wall). BUT ALSO the tiny nails leave nearly no marks in the wall. This is great in an apartment where nails are forbidden, but these tiny holes are nearly invisible. The tiny nails also make it possible to move it if you get it up only to find you didnt position it right... I bought this one for my ex-wife who (after fully installed) decided it was too low. Amazingly, it was really easy to remove and re-install (re-using the same pin-nails). The only hassle is attaching the safety cable. Get someone else to hold the TV while you do this part! Once up you can tip the bottom of the TV out about 6 inches to reach behind it for connections. Overall, this is really elegantly designed. Cant recommend it highly enough.

> 3 dayI have always mounted my televisions and have now gone through a few different models. My biggest problem has been that the studs needed to mount a TV isnt always in the center of the wall or where the center is where you want it. This gives you the option of mounting the TV where you want and NOT having to find a stud is such a plus. I will say I was a bit hesitant at first and admittedly still check it every so often to make sure the TV is secure. So far so good... Attaching the mount to the TV was super simple and finding the best place to mount the wall bracket took no time at all. It may be my OCD but had to try several times to get the wall bracket mounted perfectly level. After a few tries and ruining a nail or two, luckily they included several extras, I go the wall bracket perfectly level and mounting it was a breeze. However, I couldnt just swing my TV forward enough to mount the security cable. Found it was easier to mark the screw point and pre-drill the hole.

> 3 dayWell! Its been 48hrs and my 42 TV hasnt come crashing down yet so Id say so far, so good! I really had some doubts and I really hope Im not jinxing it by leaving an early review. My tv is one heavy a$z plasma circa 2009 weighing in at 53 pounds and some change. The Hangman is rated up to 80 pounds so I know that gives me 27 pounds of the grace area but it sure felt like I was thumbing my nose at the laws of physics upon initial hanging. My only gripe so far is a minor one concering the safety cable. The slot they have in the bar that attaches to the TV that the safety cable is to be passed through is very thin. And the body of the eyelet and the body of the end of the safety cable are nearly the same. So in order to get the eyelet to pass through the slot, one has to get inventive so that the other end of the cable doesnt get yanked through the slot if the unfortunate happens. I will update this review in the weeks and months to come

> 3 dayThey thought of everything! A template, a teeny level, it is very easy to install and I have confidence it will hold the tv up.
