The design is great for top opening and not having to dig through to find things. I love all the pockets. The inside pockets dont all zip closed, so if you flip open the top, the stuff will fall out. The straps were pretty comfortable even with a lot of weight in the bag. The chest strap was perfect to balance out the tension on my body. The back pocket was great for keeping my money and documents close to my body and easily accessible to me. This does hold a lot and has so much space for a backpack. I was able to get in a 12 pack of soda, 3 days worth of clothing, and my toiletries. It also fits perfectly under the seat of the plane. My biggest issue was the connection at the bottom is a metal lobster clip which isnt shown in the pictures. The clip came undone a few times. Enough to be annoying, but not annoying enough to return.

Great quality, lots of room, perfectly organized.

I used it on a long haul with a 17in laptop. It was great Storage and not heavy. However the zipper on the big compartment came apart.

I bought two of them and I packed a lot of stuff in mine and was way over the 8 inches. I couldn’t fit it in the personal bin even if I took stuff out. On the other hand, my husband was able to take his cowboy boots and two pairs of jeans. Took Frontier round trip and had no problems

If you do not use the expansion part, pack your things flat and wide instead of stacking them tall, and use the side straps to synch it all down, it fits the personal item for spirit and frontier. Just took a trip where I used both airlines and it fit, you just cant pack the bag big and full. You have to be strategic because if you pack it full it wont fit the personal item and theyll charge you for a carry on. Also, by the time I came back from using the backpack for one trip for 2 weeks, the mesh part that holds a water bottle on the side of the backpack is falling apart. Great backpack other than that. Also has a wet pocket, and separate area for laptop. Multiple zip pockets on the outside and pockets on the inside as well. Has a small clamp where you can hook it across your chest for more support, which I used often. Good backpack. 4.5/5

I used this backpack for my 3 weeks traveling in Costa Rica. Absolutely amazed of how much can fit in it, super comfortable to carry and worked for every airline as person item.

I bought this to take as a personal item on a Frontier airlines flight. The bag is cute and looks well made but some reviewers said it fit as a personal item, but it did not. I therefore returned it.

Loved the bag! Lots of room, until the strap broke at the airport. I don’t feel like it was over stuffed or too heavy. Very disappointing. Edit 2/19/23: I was pleasantly surprised when I received a replacement bag from the manufacturer. I I had missed the return window. I really appreciate them replacing the bag. Hopefully I have better luck with this one.
