While the Hario system is a good brew, the second set of filters I purchased was very different from the first. I think they have changed the composition of the paper. The originals were sort of plush with great filtering abilities and pass through was pretty quick. Now the filters are less plush and the filtering time has at least doubled. Not happy with the change.

Probably the best filters you can get.

I havent found any substitute for the proprietary Hario filters. Ive folded up flat bottom filters many times in a pinch, but the shape of this is unique. The quality of the paper is nicer than filters from my local grocery store too. BE SURE YOU ORDER THE RIGHT SIZE! (dont be like... someone I know... and get the wrong ones :)

These filters are very different than the last set of Hario filters I purchased. These take significantly longer to use. My brew time almost doubled with them. Ive made some adjustments to my brewing process that have made them tolerable, but the end result is not what it should be.
