Im pretty sure I got fake filters, I thought Hario changed their design but after checking most coffee shops/stores - no ones seen these variety.

Cheaper enough than the boxed Harios. Sometimes I fold Melitta #4s from the supermarket into a cone instead, but I get these when I feel like splurging.

Not sure if it is a manufacturing process or an intentional design change but these filters have changed. They are thicker and less pliable when compared directly to an older version. Keeping my grind settings the same (as I would have ground for an older V60 filter) it affected draw down times by ~+30-40 seconds.

These are the best filters on the market. I have tried other brand names and I had nothing but heartache and troubles. Tbe trouble I had with the other brands was their failure to contain the coffee grounds. The bottom would fall out and then a ruined cup of coffee. But these are the best! Do not settle for anything less than this product!
