These are the absolute worst Hario V60-02 filters for sale. They are Hario original, but this particular version from Hario drains very slowly. You can distinguish these from the good Hario filters by their rounded tab. I bought several packs of these because I ran out of filters and needed them for my business. My normal supplier would have delivered a few days later, but I needed filters sooner, so I bought these. BIG MISTAKE! :-( Its not the sellers fault, this is just poor product design from Hario. :-(

It does the job perfectly well for a really nice cup of coffee with an V60

These used to be the best. They have modified the filters using a denser material - Im not even sure its actually paper anymore. If I had to guess, Id say the reasoning is to allow less water to leak out the sides of the filter as its draining. Whatever the reason, the practical effect is that brew time has easily tripled to over 6 minutes for a single mug of coffee, and thats after using a much coarser grind. The result is coffee that is cold and weak. Will be looking for an alternative filter in my next order.

The reviews here saying these are thicker are accurate. Its a long process to do a pour over with these filters...

Best way to make coffee

Bought this to use with a pour over. It works very well, does the job without any problems. Why three stars? It does the same job as a Melitta that costs less than half. Nothing special here, grossly overpriced.

Updating my review because I think the design changed and the particular bean I was using didnt play nice with it. All beans since then have a normal draw down.
