I have 2 geldings a very wasteful senior that throws hay all over his stall and then walks all over it and a fast eating TB that gulps food down then gets upset when he has nothing to eat, leaving me constantly having to give him small portions throughout the day….. these hay been AWESOME in both scenarios and have held up well. 4 horses - some of them super tough on everything. These hay nets are everything you want them to be - a way for horses to enjoy their hay but slow them down, a method you can simply use and then walk away, and a very adaptable but sturdy, easy to fill and use set-up. Our horses are in outdoor paddocks with electric fence. So basically the hay nets are tied to trees in the paddocks. And the rope is super high quality, easy to tie, easy to untie, but shows no signs of wear and tear. Of 3 nets, one developed a hole, but it came with some extra string and that hole is now closed and staying closed. The hole size is perfect (have used the smaller one for minis too). HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

I LOVE this hay bag! Will definitely be ordering another one! My horses and donkey are rough on hay bags but this one is holding up well and so easy to fill!

About 4 years ago we purchased our first nets with hay chix, and we loved them. We finally got to needing new ones because they finally starting wearing out. Unfortunately somethings changed. Same horses, but after first use, large holes are developing all over the new nets. We got replacements, but the same results. Ive built feeders to keep them off the ground, but were fixing holes every time we put a new bale out. They think its the horses or how we handle them, I think somethings changed with the nets themselves. I just gave up ... Looking for a new company.

Have used this hay bag on almost a daily basis for over a year and it has handled the use great! Love the large opening that makes it easy to fill.
