HDMI Cable for PSP 2000, PSP 3000 Handheld Console

For starters the PSP only outputs analog component video. So theres going to be a loss of quality converting to HDMI, and the picture IS a little blurry. But its not bad. Dont expect a pixel perfect image. But what you do get is good brightness, good colors, and good image stability. No flickering or dropout, the levels are set just right so you dont have to mess with your TVs image settings. It has a switch to zoom up the center of the display to help give a more of a full-screen instead of a letterboxed picture. This works pretty well. It does make the blurriness worse, but since you are scaling a blurry source image its kind of expected. Overall I like this thing. I wish the PSP had digital video output, but it doesnt, so this is as good as it gets. For the price point Id say its a solid deal.

I didn’t expect it to come with an HDMI cord too. Didn’t need it, but thanks. Between the HDMI, and the actual cable there is a ton of very necessary length that I didn’t get with component cables. Only thing that I’d change is to get the correct aspect ratio for the PSP. But do know, the aspect ratio it does display isn’t far off. I highly recommend this product.

I have a lot of fond memories of my PSP and the various games I played. The item works wonderfully after some small delay of not understanding how to setup the video display from the PSP itself it was nice to see it in full view on my TV. There was no input delay from the PSP to what was happening on screen as well very nice product would recommend to anyone looking to relive an old classic.

I am beyond amazed at this product and this is coming from someone whos played psp games on both the psp with composite cable and thru Playstation TV. You get the best possible image quality and sound while never feeling like it will come apart or moving affect the quality.

The plug will not fit on the older models. The plug that attaches to the bottom will bump into the side corner of the bottom. beware if your PSP is old

This adapter is absolutely amazing! Its great to play my psp games in hd on my tv. This is a must buy for all gamers who own a psp. Its simple plug and play with a full screen option! Not many adapters have that from what I have seen.
