If your body chemistry doesn’t mix well with “cool water cologne” then this may not be the scent you want. It’s an older cologne from the 90’s I don’t even know if it is made any longer. This shampoo does work at relieving dandruff. You get a great deal for you money. But again, while it smells nice to some others may not care for this.

I dont have dandruff so thats not really an issue. However, I have read online about this brand being great for removing semi permanent hair color, so thats why I decided to give this shampoo a try. The zinc in Head & shoulders helps remove the color from hair, but it definitely has dried out my hair when I use it. This is why I make sure I pair it with a good conditioner. This is just in my case. Im sure its different based on your own scalp and hair care needs. I love the smell of it in particular! Even when I mix the shampoo with powdered vitamin C tablets (to better help with color removal), I can still smell the lovely Old Spice scent. I love it. Ill definitely be keeping it in stock!

This is one of the better shampoos Ive used. I find that it leaves my hair smooth and clean in a way others might not. The Old Spice scent is nice and smelling nice adds a certain confidence in starting the day. Its difficult to find this type in some grocery stores, but this two-pack saves time I would otherwise use shopping. The bottles are larger than the normal size of Head & Shoulders, so I anticipate this lasting a long while.

I got this yesterday and had to try it last night and I am a happy camper. The competing scents between my shampoo, cologne and deodorant is an annoyance to me. Having been an Old Spice Guy for the past 50+ years, this particular shampoo is a Wowwee Zowee moment as Frank Zappa would have said. It is a Zinc P. based shampoo which is all that works for me, and the scent, although not strong is a perfect match for me. No film left on my (very fine) hair, no frizzy after effect and clean hair, whats not to like? The price is precisely comparable to That Other Store so being able to shop online with Prime is a deciding point for me. If youre an Old Spice Guy too, go for it.

My husband has some problems with dandruff and eczema so he was always trying different shampoos that didn’t leave his hair dry nor with more dandruff. He has been using Selsum but hasn’t quite work for him so we were happy to review this shampoo from Head & Shoulders with the scent of Old Spice Sport. I have to say my husbands hair comes smelling good after a shower. He has notice some good results as the dandruff is completely gone although still makes hair a bit dry. Other than that is a great shampoo for good results on dandruff or scalp problems.

Head & Shoulders has been my husbands go-to shampoo for years, and hes continued using it even after shaving his head. You wouldnt really think a bald guy needs to shampoo, but he lathers up his scalp each day to keep flakes away. We obviously cant comment on how this formula affects hairs look, texture, or fullness, but my hubby says it feels refreshing and it leaves his scalp looking healthy. I always associated Old Spice with my grandfathers aftershave, but their new scents are thoroughly modern. As the name implies, Pure Sport has a sporty, fresh-smelling fragrance; theres no hint of the medicinal or chemical odor some dandruff shampoos have. As you can see in one of my review photos, the shampoo has a slightly runny, cream-like consistency and a pale milky-green tint. The extra-large 21.9-oz. bottles make this twin-pack a good value. The shampoo arrived in January 2020 and expires in January 2021, so that allows plenty of time for my hubby to make his way through both bottles. And we like that the bottles were shrink-wrapped together, which kept them from accidentally popping open or leaking in transit. Overall, this Head & Shoulders Men Advanced Series two-pack of shampoo is a good deal and a great choice for any guy who wants effective dandruff control and a fresh yet masculine scent.

So combining this scent with dandruff shampoo is genius. There is nothing better on the market for dandruff than Head and Shoulders! This two pack from Amazon is such a value. Often it is hard to find specialized products like this at the big box stores. And drugstores tend to mark up products. Amazon, Head and Shoulders, and Old Spice have solved so many of my problems in one fell swoop!
