I have a 2019 Honda Odyssey and the support doesnt fit the seat due to the built in seatbelt in the seat.

My family took many long trips when I was little. Trying to sleep sitting up was a challenge in a crowded van. These are great! They offer head support for sleepers - or even a child who has outgrown a carseat, but does not have a strong neck. I have an autistic niece who lacks adequate neck control ... so this is an issue. Im not convinced this is the best quality of plastic - it doesnt have the feel of my high end car seats. If feels more like the bargain ones. So it says it passes the collision tests. But if stressed (even a minor fender bender), you will need to replace it. Also, if kept in a car that reaches high temps while parked .. consider replacing every 2 - 4 years. The side pads are thick and sturdy vinyl covered. There is a plastic frame inside, you can feel it. It seems sturdy enough. But I am somewhat leery of quality. Time will tell. This looks slightly complicated to install. Lots of small pieces. I know my all thumbs DH would be challenged, but my engineer brained DD would have it installed in no time. Dont drop the pieces. It would be very compact to store ... but who wants to install and uninstall it? Great gift for a mom of a toddler with too many toys. Well be installing this in a car that spends many miles on the road going to state soccer meets with a full van. Ill update later.

This looks nice but in all reality, the design is terrible, it is not comfortable, and it is not sturdy. Very flimsy.

My three kids recently graduated from their 5 point harness seats to booster seats. We decided to go bare bones minimum with the boosters so we could fit 3 across in my car. They really missed having a place to rest their heads and with a cross country drive coming up, we dived to try these. I started with one. Installation was a little slow and I did learn that my Ford Flex doesn’t have headrests with multiple locking positions. They’re either locked or loose. So using these side headrests means my headrests don’t lock into place. All my kids tested it and said was great so I bought a second one to install on the other side seat thinking the kid in the middle could just use the side headrests. Not quite the case so I bought a third one! Now each kid has their own set and everyone is happy. The color match is close enough that it blends in. By the time I installed the third one, i was a pro and it only took a couple of minutes. I did notice today during our first day of a full day drive that one of the headrests was rattling quite a bit but after my son adjusted it, it was fine.

This fits perfectly on our 2017 Chrysler pacifica, rear seats. I havent tried the middle row yet. Our kids love them and the installation was significantly easier than I expected.
