Very sturdy, and easy to install.

Product does a good job for what it is. It was just difficult for me to get the self tapping screws started so I drilled pilot holes and they sunk in fine. The pin catch at the top is very rudimentary. It’s just a thin strip of metal shaped like a V that is perpendicular to the ground. While I haven’t experienced this yet it seems like the pin could easily slip off the top catch and drop down. Otherwise it does a fine job and doesn’t take much to install.

It arrived on time... went on in minutes... worked perfectly! Amazon had the best price for this item. I purchased this product after buying the adjust-a-gate in person at a builders warehouse (and realized I needed this for a double gate).

I used this rod to close a gate linked fence after losing the ordinal rod it works well and fitted perfectly. I did not need any of the added assemblies because it slit right into the former rods hold perfectly. The rod is sturdy and hold very well. It worked and adjusted as well as the ordinal lost rod.

My gate has a of gap underneath, so the rod extended about 8 when closed. The first windstorm bent it almost 45 deg. Had to remount it lower, leaving just 1 above the ground. For support, I backed the bracket that extended below the gate with a substantial steel L-profile, and connected them together with several bolts. Look for a more substantial product if your gate is large or has any significant gap above the ground.
