> 24 hourBetter signal transfer with OFC. Looks like its right on par with how thick 16awg should be. Good price for this stuff too. UL Class 2 means that this wire is stiff. Not good for twisting. If you want softer wire for twisting you will need a wire with a higher UL class like class 5

> 24 hourThese speaker wires seem to work great (I used AWG 16). I used them to hook up cheap-o Polk Audio speakers (the T-series), to an entry-level Pioneer AV-receiver (VSX-LX103 Elite). Ive never done anything like this before, and in my experience I found the wires to be very easy to strip using a cheap (but quite nice) wire stripper from the hardware store. I also found the wire very easy to twist prior to inserting into banana plugs for insertion into the back of the AV-receiver, or for insertion into the plugs at the back of the Polk Audio speakers (which did not accept banana plugs). The red stripe on the outside of the wire was very useful to ensure that I was keeping the correct polarity, and I also found the wire surprisingly flexible. Finally, the sound from the system that I set up is very, very good, and I dont hear any interference at all, even though there is a lot of other electrical wires touching and/or very, very close to the speaker wires at the back of the TV. I can only conclude that this speaker wire is really quite good, and the price seems fair (I paid $15 for 50 feet).

> 24 hourWorked excellent for redoing all my factory speaker wire in my car. The wire has great flexibility even with the insulation being considerably thicker than the factory stuff.
