Its exactly what is described - speaker wire, AWG #16, clear insulation. This is low-voltage wire for speaker use, not AC line cord. Polarity is indicated by a visible red strip in the clear insulation.

Great wire for aftermarket 6.75 door speakers to run to mid-range amp. Nice strength, but flexible enough to maneuver and take sharp corners. I got the 16ga. Would recommend

It is way longer than what I needed, but the sound quality is reliable for recreative listening, and cant beat the price.

Item came quickly in a nice double package, no issues with the wire. I cut two pieces for my speakers and connected to my new stereo with no issues. No breakage of the copper wires because, theyre real copper!! Not copper coated garbage. Would but again if needed, but this is a lot of speaker wire for a great price.

I used this 16/2 gauge wire for my Rockfish wireless sender/receiver for my rear surround sound speakers. The wire is pure copper (not coated copper aluminum) oxygen free and stranded for better speaker performance. One wire has a red line and the other wire has black letters with wire information so you can make sure your connections are red to red and black to black on the speakers and receiver. I recommend this wire.
