Greater than one weekThese are great little modules. Great for the IoT or just messing with people. I have one loaded with a fake wireless access point that I can power all day from a small phone backup battery that RickRolls people when they join it.

> 3 dayThis is a great wifi micro controller. not the easiest thing to program but if you bought this to control through Amazon alexa then look no further than youtubing SINRIC it is a web based device service that allows you to send commands to alexa to turn on and off outputs on the ESP8266

> 3 dayAll 3 defective. One USB port soldered askew. One with bent header pins. One with a puncture?!? to the esp8266. +1 star because a previous order of 1 unit is fine

> 3 dayThis is by far the lowest cost ESP8266 board available in any decent amount of time. You might be able to get them cheaper shipped from china but who wants to wait that long?!? I purchased this and have used it for many things since I got it. Ive used it to control a robot I built with my daughter, I built a wifi router, a TOR / Onion router to route private traffic over the internet and Ive used it to control LEDs and various relays. With Wifi, Bluetooth, GPIO, I2C and everything else there isnt much you cant do with this and you can beat the price. It works perfectly with Arduino IDE and you will find a ton of information on the internet to get you started if you havent worked with one of these before. I would definitely recommend this device, even more so than an Arduino. If you pair it with an Arduino Nano you could really accomplish a lot with this device. The possibilities are endless, I highly recommend whether you are tinkering or have a specific needs. Great price and fast shipping.
