> 24 hourI received the LCD display like a couple of months ago and its still working and is way better than the led display that comes with the elegoo Arduino kit. also I am a human and also um...I forgot what I was gonna say. OH YEAH to get the library for the display you just look for LiquidCrystal_I2C by Frank de Brabander and you should be good. Again goof luck, this is a good product.

> 24 hourI like the LCD but I have found that if I even move my Audion or the wires around this LCD it will go nuts and start showing trash on the screen forcing me to have to reboot just to get back to working. I havent been able to pin down if its just the wares go to the Arduino or if there something on the display its self or the I2C board that is causing the drop outs. But besides that nit pick it a way better display then the blue 16x2 display I have. Much easier to read even with high sunlight due to the fact its a black text not a white text.

> 24 hourDisplays seemed OK once the correct address was found. I ordered 2 in Feb. 2023, and both of them were at address 0x3F. This address is not even listed in the chart of possible addresses provided in the listing! I unsuccessfully tried all the addresses Id seen in previous reviews. (At that point I hadnt yet seen where a previous reviewer had reported that one of his two displays was found to be at 0x3F) I had to resort to an I2C address scanner for the Arduino that I found online. Note that one of the addresses the scanner reports may be the Arduino itself. Make a note of any addresses found, then unplug the display and scan again. The address that is now missing will be the displays address. Hope this helps someone.

> 24 hourYou need female to male cables to hook it to the Arduino board. It powered up fine and shows the 4 lines you see in the picture of the product. However, I can not get it to write to line 4 ; lines 1,2,3 work fine but anything to line 4 over writes the data on line 2 ????? One day later and nothing will display; but the backlight is on and rows 1 and 3 have dark cursors in every column. Adjusting the POT does nothing. Got a replacement unit and it does the same thing; didt even show the original splash screen. Someone else had this same problem with two units. Arduino board works fine with the 16x2 screen that came with the kit. I give up.

> 24 hourShipped fast, next day in my case, was package in its own box making it very well protected. I was able to hook it up a have some examples running on it in minutes! This will be perfect for a Time. Temp, Pressure display project in my shop! The extra two lines this display provides may come in very handy for this!

> 24 hourBought two screens and thought one was not working. HiLetgo was very quick to offer technical assistance. It turns out I just got two screens with different I2C addresses and I was trying to use the same address for both. I am now very happy with both. FYI the addresses for my screens were 0x27 and 0x3f. Or if you are smarter than me you can look up the PCF8574 datasheet and probe pins A0, A1, and A2 to determine exactly what your address is.

> 24 hourNeeded to adjust the potentiometer on the back to get it to display but works good for the price.

> 24 hourDisplay worked as expected. I had trouble initially setting up in code as I have only used 2x20s in the past. I sent an email to HiLetgo and they responded with all the info I needed. I highly recommend.

> 24 hourIt works as expected. Pretty easy to read once you adjust the contrast. Rated at 4 stars because it comes with zero documentation. They do seem to be pretty standard so I was able to get it working using an example for Arduino online.
