Greater than one weekYou need female to male cables to hook it to the Arduino board. It powered up fine and shows the 4 lines you see in the picture of the product. However, I can not get it to write to line 4 ; lines 1,2,3 work fine but anything to line 4 over writes the data on line 2 ????? One day later and nothing will display; but the backlight is on and rows 1 and 3 have dark cursors in every column. Adjusting the POT does nothing. Got a replacement unit and it does the same thing; didt even show the original splash screen. Someone else had this same problem with two units. Arduino board works fine with the 16x2 screen that came with the kit. I give up.

13-06-2025I received the LCD display like a couple of months ago and its still working and is way better than the led display that comes with the elegoo Arduino kit. also I am a human and also um...I forgot what I was gonna say. OH YEAH to get the library for the display you just look for LiquidCrystal_I2C by Frank de Brabander and you should be good. Again goof luck, this is a good product.

> 3 dayIt works as expected. Pretty easy to read once you adjust the contrast. Rated at 4 stars because it comes with zero documentation. They do seem to be pretty standard so I was able to get it working using an example for Arduino online.

Greater than one weekThese are nice display modules with 2 wire I2c interface. Display is sharp and bright. Easy to read with or without the backlight. I tried to get a picture but my phone camera did not do it justice.

> 3 dayAfter wasting time testing with the wrong address that was stated in the Amazon product description (no documentation came with the module) and finding out the right one (0x47) the display works nicely. Several pins were bent on the connector and jumper. What more to expect for that low price?

> 3 dayEasy to find existing libraries in Arduino

> 3 dayAs an I2C device this was a no brainer and didnt consume any pins on my Arduino since the I2C bus is shared with several other devices. Once you adjust the potentiometer for the brightness it is very nice to read. It needs a different library than its 16x2 cousin but that was a breeze to find and install.

> 3 dayShipped fast, next day in my case, was package in its own box making it very well protected. I was able to hook it up a have some examples running on it in minutes! This will be perfect for a Time. Temp, Pressure display project in my shop! The extra two lines this display provides may come in very handy for this!
