> 24 hourYou will have white dust everywhere if you do not use one of these! I made that mistake by using unsuccessful homemade methods.

> 24 hourI purchased this first and foremost because I was drilling holes in my ceiling to install new pod lights. I purchased this particular model because I thought the metal ring would prove more durable and long-lasting than any of the plastic ringed alternatives. I couldnt have been more wrong. After putting it on my drill for the very first time and drilling into my ceiling, the metal ring actually became unscrewed from itself and then leaked all the dust in the bowl all over me and my bedroom. This is exactly what I didnt want to happen. I cant believe that they put the ring on so shoddy. The ring would also not screw back on evenly as part of the plastic flange of the bull had become warped. So this made my dust Bowl literally unusable. I ended up returning the product and I purchased the plastic ringed alternative (which worked great). I highly suggest everyone stay away from this particular model and just buy the plastic ring from the get-go. Yes its a little more expensive, but its worth it.

> 24 hourWorks great! I expected a little dust to leak out while cutting the ceiling drywall for recessed lighting, but absolutely no dust came out. Bowl is flexible enough to allow for cutting all the way through drywall. Had a vacuum standing by to pick up dust but it wasnt needed. I would suggest, after cutting all the way through and pulling the plug down, leaving the bowl up against the ceiling to let the floating fog of dust thats within the bowl to settle down to the bottom. Great price for a great product.

> 24 hourNo real complaint, its just a silicon bowl with a bushing in the bottom. Not much to break but... This one was used and filthy, you can see the rub line from the hole saw. I dont mind it was used once or twice but dang, rinse the drywall dust off before you resell it!

> 24 hourAlthough I liked the idea of the steel washers, it didn’t hold up as well as another dust bowl I had that lasted a long time. The bowl itself is a little small and 6” hole saws rub on the bowl.

> 24 hourPretty good product. It is worth it to have this when installing ceiling lights. The plastic is flexible. It did me a while to figure it out how to use it with a bigger hole drill.

> 24 hourI ordered this Dust bowl and thinking it was the one I have ordered in the past, but it is not. This Dust bowl works fine and came a week or so later. Upon further investigation I notice the one I just ordered is made by a offshore company. I also noticed that the original one I ordered is made in the USA. I prefer to support made in the USA products and for a dollar or so more. I will be more careful and will seek out and only by the original one that I understand is made in USA.

> 24 hourItem worked great to install my recessed lights, no more drywall dust flying everywhere. Used it to install 8 recessed lights but by the 4th or 5th one it started buckling with very little pressure. Would recommend for quick project not for prolonged use on big projects.
