HOLMES 16 Stand Fan With Remote Control, Black

After a year it died. Not good value. A fan should last longer than that...

This is a great fan, its pricy but my wife and I are happy with it. My wife I like the fan cause its a little taller than most fans. Its well constructed, when putting the fan together you get a good idea of its durability. We usually only run the fan on the second speed, the 3rd is a little much. But it will be great to have that 3rd speed during those hot summer days. Defiantly would recommend this fan to family and friends.

Well the shipment arrived in the 10th minus the fan blade on a hot day. Nevertheless my complaint was quickly addressed. It is as advertised a nice and powerful unit. I may buy another.

Certainly not worth $35! IF they had included all FOUR screws I would have been tempted to keep it so that I didnt have to schlep it to the UPS Store to return the poc but NO only got 3. DONT BUY IT.

AMAZING fan!!! Just like the picture. So much air. The noise dont bother me at all because the amount of air is awesome.

In summary -- nice shell with a PoS motor... Fan wasnt cheap -- expected it would be built to last given the price and its metal construction. Instead the motor windings shorted because the manufacturer was super cheap and skimped on insulation between them. When it did work, it moved air well. Its certainly a little louder than plastic fans (this should not come as a surprise from a metal fan). I wasnt particularly thrilled that low speed was equivalent to high speed on any other fan model. If you turned up the fan all the way up to actually be on high speed you could probably power an air boat or hovercraft (and yes its just as loud as you might imagine one of those being). Contacted this company 8 days again to see about a replacement motor... yet to hear back. Will update review either in a week or when I hear from them.

Great fan and super sturdy! As good as it is I do think maybe the price is a tad too high for a basic fan however the quality of the metal and comfort of its power is worth it! I would recommend and even buy again! I just think the price point is about $10-15 over priced for a fan that’s not industrial! However it also is esthetically pleasant and still compliment the look of any modern design of living spaces today!
