> 3 dayI purchase this fan to replace a 10 year old metal fan that was made by another company and was starting to wear out. This van arrived in great shape, fairly easy to assemble and works great! Feels nice and sturdy and operates very quietly and effectively! I expect this fan to be with me for many years to come

> 3 dayWell the shipment arrived in the 10th minus the fan blade on a hot day. Nevertheless my complaint was quickly addressed. It is as advertised a nice and powerful unit. I may buy another.

> 3 dayIn summary -- nice shell with a PoS motor... Fan wasnt cheap -- expected it would be built to last given the price and its metal construction. Instead the motor windings shorted because the manufacturer was super cheap and skimped on insulation between them. When it did work, it moved air well. Its certainly a little louder than plastic fans (this should not come as a surprise from a metal fan). I wasnt particularly thrilled that low speed was equivalent to high speed on any other fan model. If you turned up the fan all the way up to actually be on high speed you could probably power an air boat or hovercraft (and yes its just as loud as you might imagine one of those being). Contacted this company 8 days again to see about a replacement motor... yet to hear back. Will update review either in a week or when I hear from them.

Greater than one weekMy 2nd same exact metal fan, my 1st fan lasted me years is why I bought another of same exact brand, blows strong, made of all metal and easy to clean

> 3 dayThis is the second of these fans I have bought. The first one burned out after over a year of almost continual use. Nothing against the fan for that, I did not clean it often enough. This construction of this fan seems to be different. The bolt that connects this fans base to the tower tube stripped out the nut in the base the first time I tightened it. The tower then flopped around uselessly. The tube that connects the tower to the base should have a longer collar inside of the base. Luckily I had not thrown out the old fan and I swapped out the tower tube, everything works correctly now. The construction is solid on the fan body but the bolts used to attach the motor cover to the motor is a special bolt head Ive never seen, you need a triangular shaped bit to open it up, that stopped me from being able to clean out the motor.

03-06-2025This is the second time we have purchased this fan. First time was several years back at Lowes and we used inside and outside on the deck, until it passed away a couple months ago. Glad to have another back around!
