This humidifier is awesome. If youve never used a top fill humidifier, you are missing out. No more spills or leaking to deal with, and refilling is a breeze. My son has terrible seasonal allergies and needs a cool mist humidifier in his bedroom to breathe comfortably at night, and this one has helped him so much. The fact that it is also a vaporizer too is a huge plus. You can add your favorite essential oil to this humidifier is one of my favorite features. I would highly recommend this to any parent or allergy sufferer.

This is a solid humidifier, works very well as a humidifier with features like LED lighting, minimum humidity auto on/off, and is very easy to refill with a top fill source, The lid does need somewhere to rest as it will drip but there is a slow pour area on the top of the humidifier, no need to take off the lid. No need to bring the wet reservoir to a different room, just pour it into the container! But there are also multiple flaws. Ive lived most of my life with a humidifier in the winter because, also living in an apartment, humidity in the winter is dry, easily down to 15-20% constantly. The refill contrainer is large, 5L, which lasts two half days when using during sleeping time, about 8 hours from 10pm to 6am, at a constant 50% RH. Sometimes I top up the humidifier during the day on break, just because and its so much easier then taking the whole tank dripping all over the place to the sink. One aspect I dislike is the touch controls. My other air humidifier is the same design but a dial. This makes using really easy, turn and thats it. Not tapping, no making sure the buttons are pressed. As well, you cant add a smart plug to this so you can schedule when the humidifier turns on and off by itself. With a dial, you can preset it, with this, the smart plug just powers it but does not turn it on. The included remote makes it easier, though its just a small item for me to loose somewhere eventually.

I got this to try in my office since it gets so dry especially in the winter. We’re always getting shocked & afraid of knocking out a computer. It’s very quiet & works well. Only disadvantage is that it takes forever to fill. You have to fill it through the top & it takes almost 10 minutes because it drains into the chamber so slow. Only other option is to take the top off every time. Other than that it’s doing the trick so far & like that it’s so compact. Just don’t let it get too low on the water level!

This humidifier has a large tank so it will last quite awhile before you refill it. It also has a light option which I rarely use as I turn this on at night and any kind of light will make it hard for me to sleep. Fortunately it does work quietly (no dripping noises) and it keeps the air moist and I can tell the difference when I wake up in the morning. Theres also a tray that you can eject -you can add essential oil but I rarely do as it leaves a greasy residue which you have to clean later. What it lacks in design (I find it rather plain looking and a little bulky) it makes up for in holding a lot of water so you dont have to keep refilling it. But I like humidifiers that are smaller and go better with my decor.

Compact and powerful humidifier. Pushes out a large amount of atomized water while also super quiet. This is the quietest humidifier I have used. The top fill is very slow. Its easier to lift the top and pour in water from a jug. It doesnt have an external humidity sensor so it doesnt measure humidity accurately especially if the mist is falls on the front of the unit where the aroma box is (air intake). Real humidity level is 10 to 15 percent lower than what is shown on the unit. It has an automatic mode but you cannot set a preferred humidity level.

With the weather getting colder, and the air getting dryer, this is going to be very useful. I have another hot humidifier that Ive been using, but you can hear it bubbling and hissing during the night. This one is super quiet. It also has a nice glowing light - you can let it cycle or select your favorite color. A very nice feature is the night mode which turns off all the lights on the unit, including the display. This makes it great for use in the bedroom at night especially for people who are bothered by having lights in the bedroom when sleeping. I like that it has a large water reservoir. I just placed the reservoir in my kitchen sink, filled it and then put the top on. It has a very effective design as it doesnt drip water when you move it around.

I have bought many humidifiers in the past and liked some but most just quit after the first week. I have been using this humidifier for almost a month and its still going strong. I love how easy it is to fill from the top and how much moisture it puts in the air. As a matter of fact, I had to turn down the humidifier on my CPAP machine because there was too much moisture building up in my hose from the room humidifier. The only thing I wanted to mention is that the machine I received had a White water tank rather than a blue one, which I thought was off, but other than that, great little machine!

Like many people that need to heat their homes, the heat combined with the dry winter air leads to fairly low humidity indoors. My thermometer/hydrometer shows a humidity level of around 20-25% without any help, which is quite a bit lower than recommended (which is around 30-40%). I have used several humidifiers in the past, of all different types, but theyve generally all had water reservoirs that were difficult to clean, other parts/mechanisms that were difficult to clean, or filters that were expensive and needed constant replacing. These are not random humidifiers either, but ones recommended by pretty trustworthy sites! Anyway onto this Homvana humidifier. This is an ultrasonic, cool mist humidifier, so theres basically a vibrating pad that generates a mist. Unlike steaming units, the mist is cool so theres no burn danger. It has a nozzle on top that you can rotate to slightly affect the direction of the mist, but it does basically go straight up. In terms of effectiveness, I am using this in my living room which is about 200 sq ft, though attached to a hallway (though my home is only like 700 sq ft in total, so not huge). After running it for about 12 hours, it brought the humidity up from 26% to 35%, about 10%. Ive only been using it for less than a day, so I will update after Ive used it for a few days, but the output may be suited only to smaller rooms like a bedroom. This Homvana humidifier is pretty easy to clean. All the electronic parts are in the top; the base is just a big container for the water. No tiny openings, no hard corners, so its very easy to clean. The instructions indicate that the only thing to clean in the top part is the ultrasonic part at the bottom of the stem. Theres an opening so you can refill the water without needing to take off the top, though if you have a lot of water to refill its easier to just open it and fill it up, though youll have to find a place to put the top part down while you refill the bottom water reservoir. Ill report after a month or so what kind of gunk builds up inside using purified water (run through a water filter). Note that the power cord plugs into the top part, so its a little unsightly. In terms of features, this covers all the basics -- you get 3 different levels of output, a sleep timer, and an auto mode that tries to keep the humidity level around 60%. This does also report the humidity level and its pretty close to my thermometer/hydrometer. This has a light that is fairly soft and could be used as a night light; theres several colors that you can cycle through. So far, while the output seems a bit less than claimed, it is shaping up to be a good humidifier -- Ill update my review in a month or so to reflect how easy or not it is to clean and keep running.
