> 3 daySorry for the color quality on the pictures. It does rotate through all the 8 colors shown above. There are no buttons that you can feel. Its touch sensitive. I used oils on the first time, and it did really well. I like the fact that it shows you what the current humidity level is in your room. Very quiet and 3 settings for the amount of moisture you prefer. A sleep timer and also an hour timer. So, you can program it to run for a certain number of hours and then it shuts off.

> 3 dayLike many people that need to heat their homes, the heat combined with the dry winter air leads to fairly low humidity indoors. My thermometer/hydrometer shows a humidity level of around 20-25% without any help, which is quite a bit lower than recommended (which is around 30-40%). I have used several humidifiers in the past, of all different types, but theyve generally all had water reservoirs that were difficult to clean, other parts/mechanisms that were difficult to clean, or filters that were expensive and needed constant replacing. These are not random humidifiers either, but ones recommended by pretty trustworthy sites! Anyway onto this Homvana humidifier. This is an ultrasonic, cool mist humidifier, so theres basically a vibrating pad that generates a mist. Unlike steaming units, the mist is cool so theres no burn danger. It has a nozzle on top that you can rotate to slightly affect the direction of the mist, but it does basically go straight up. In terms of effectiveness, I am using this in my living room which is about 200 sq ft, though attached to a hallway (though my home is only like 700 sq ft in total, so not huge). After running it for about 12 hours, it brought the humidity up from 26% to 35%, about 10%. Ive only been using it for less than a day, so I will update after Ive used it for a few days, but the output may be suited only to smaller rooms like a bedroom. This Homvana humidifier is pretty easy to clean. All the electronic parts are in the top; the base is just a big container for the water. No tiny openings, no hard corners, so its very easy to clean. The instructions indicate that the only thing to clean in the top part is the ultrasonic part at the bottom of the stem. Theres an opening so you can refill the water without needing to take off the top, though if you have a lot of water to refill its easier to just open it and fill it up, though youll have to find a place to put the top part down while you refill the bottom water reservoir. Ill report after a month or so what kind of gunk builds up inside using purified water (run through a water filter). Note that the power cord plugs into the top part, so its a little unsightly. In terms of features, this covers all the basics -- you get 3 different levels of output, a sleep timer, and an auto mode that tries to keep the humidity level around 60%. This does also report the humidity level and its pretty close to my thermometer/hydrometer. This has a light that is fairly soft and could be used as a night light; theres several colors that you can cycle through. So far, while the output seems a bit less than claimed, it is shaping up to be a good humidifier -- Ill update my review in a month or so to reflect how easy or not it is to clean and keep running.

> 3 dayThis humidifier is awesome. If youve never used a top fill humidifier, you are missing out. No more spills or leaking to deal with, and refilling is a breeze. My son has terrible seasonal allergies and needs a cool mist humidifier in his bedroom to breathe comfortably at night, and this one has helped him so much. The fact that it is also a vaporizer too is a huge plus. You can add your favorite essential oil to this humidifier is one of my favorite features. I would highly recommend this to any parent or allergy sufferer.

Greater than one weekI use this in my bedroom every night during the heating season. It really helps with reducing dry sinuses while sleeping. Using soft water nearly eliminates having to clean the unit. I’ve been using this for two months now and haven’t had to clean it yet. It will run on high for about 12 hours on a single fill. Filling from the top takes is slow and takes too long. Recommend turning off unit, raise the lid and fill much faster pouring directly into the tank.

> 3 dayI got this humidifier to replace my old one. And boy am I glad I did. This humidifier has a very large tank. I ran it all night on full blast starting in the winter because my heat really dries out the air in my apartment and my wife and I usually get nose bleeds because of it. It not only lasted through the night, but several hours into the morning. It still had some water in it about 12 hours of running non-stop into Saturday. It has a display that tells you how humid the room is. I started it at 32% humidity, and by the time I turned it off near eleven the next morning, it read 52%. So I rose the humidity in the bedroom by 20%! Thats pretty darn good! I did have the door closed, so that may have helped. The tank has a color changing light that looks nice, but I turned the light off so we could sleep. It also is stunningly silent. I barely heard it. And at one point I woke up to go to the bathroom and wondered if it was still on and had to go check it because its so quiet. I LOVE this humidifier. Best one Ive ever had.

28-11-2024UPDATE - After three months of use, it has stopped working well. This morning the gauge was at 78% humidity and there was water all over the floor from the amount of mist it spewed along with on the top of the unit. This has now happened for the third time. I am not sure the product is going to last any longer. This review is for Homvana Cool Mist Humidifier, 5L Top Fill Ultrasonic Vaporizer after three days of use. The good - Extremely well packaged item - Very sleek and expensive looking humidifier, also one of the best design on the market. - 5L Tank with top refill and also the design that reduces leaks and spills to zero. - Easy to clean and maintain - The quietest humidifier we have ever had, and we own some good brands of humidifiers. - Love the 7 light modes but too bright to use as a night light in my opinion so we keep the light off at night. - Love the auto feature and ability to turn off the light off and on. - Love the ability to keep the mist on high or low when not in auto mode - The price is pretty compatible with other brands on the market. - Essential oil compartment which opens and close with a small push with fingers. - Comes with a user’s guide, a few essential oil spare filters and a brush to clean internal part. - Above all these features, the best part is ease of cleaning and knowing you have cleaned all the parts completely. The bad - None. Overall, the best bang for our buck when it comes to cool mist humidifier. We are extremely happy with it. > 3 dayGreat humidifier for the dry winter heating months. Humidity control, ample water capacity, and interesting LED lights. Also has a spot for essential oils, I have not tried this feature.
