> 3 dayUPDATE: The company reached out and was able to replace my unit, which wasnt outputting as well as it should have. Ive upgraded my star rating from 3 to 4 as I do value great customer service like this. For the price, I was really hoping that this small humidifier would perform better. Out of the box, it was very easy to set up and the included power adapter has a decently long power cord. The water canister can be filled by removing the top lid and pouring water into it, or you can leave the lid in place and filled from the top, which is extremely convenient. Perhaps the easiest humidifier to fill that Ive used. The controls and display are on the top of the unit. This is not my preferred option as you can only see the display if you are standing next to the unit. The buttons are responsive and you have full control over the mist strength, timer function, sleep mode, and Auto mode which keep the humidity adjusted to around 60% or so. Unlike with other humidifiers, you cannot set an exact humidity level on this one, which is a bit of a shame. The mist can be directed, but its still pointed upwards. As for effectiveness, I have to say that Im disappointed. The claim that The superior TuberMist technology and dual powerful 360° nozzles can swiftly raise humidity by 12% in just 20 minutes is simply not something Ive been able to replicate. In one room thats particularly dry, I left the unit running at full power (level 3 mist) for many hours, and it only raised the humidity in the immediate area (measured using two accurate sensors) by only 5-6%. In contrast, I have another small humidifier that has no trouble raising the humidity by at least twice that amount. If you like to add essential oil to a diffuser, youll be happy to know that theres a special tray to drop oil into at the front of this unit, which prevents the water from being contaminated with oil. Overall, at the current price of $90, I have a hard time recommending this unit. It may work fine in a very small room with the doors closed, but its not ideal for medium rooms with an open door.

> 3 dayThere is a large-capacity water tank that can hold 5L of water. Top refill. low noise. There is an automatic mode.

> 3 dayThis humidifier worked quietly and the stream of mist produced is strong and did a good job of combatting the dry air at home. I like that this humidifier has an auto mode which monitors and keeps humidity to ideal levels instead of having to manually fiddle with it myself. Refilling it is very easy and I like that when Im filling it up, I can just drag a pitcher over and not make a mess at all

> 3 dayLike many people that need to heat their homes, the heat combined with the dry winter air leads to fairly low humidity indoors. My thermometer/hydrometer shows a humidity level of around 20-25% without any help, which is quite a bit lower than recommended (which is around 30-40%). I have used several humidifiers in the past, of all different types, but theyve generally all had water reservoirs that were difficult to clean, other parts/mechanisms that were difficult to clean, or filters that were expensive and needed constant replacing. These are not random humidifiers either, but ones recommended by pretty trustworthy sites! Anyway onto this Homvana humidifier. This is an ultrasonic, cool mist humidifier, so theres basically a vibrating pad that generates a mist. Unlike steaming units, the mist is cool so theres no burn danger. It has a nozzle on top that you can rotate to slightly affect the direction of the mist, but it does basically go straight up. In terms of effectiveness, I am using this in my living room which is about 200 sq ft, though attached to a hallway (though my home is only like 700 sq ft in total, so not huge). After running it for about 12 hours, it brought the humidity up from 26% to 35%, about 10%. Ive only been using it for less than a day, so I will update after Ive used it for a few days, but the output may be suited only to smaller rooms like a bedroom. This Homvana humidifier is pretty easy to clean. All the electronic parts are in the top; the base is just a big container for the water. No tiny openings, no hard corners, so its very easy to clean. The instructions indicate that the only thing to clean in the top part is the ultrasonic part at the bottom of the stem. Theres an opening so you can refill the water without needing to take off the top, though if you have a lot of water to refill its easier to just open it and fill it up, though youll have to find a place to put the top part down while you refill the bottom water reservoir. Ill report after a month or so what kind of gunk builds up inside using purified water (run through a water filter). Note that the power cord plugs into the top part, so its a little unsightly. In terms of features, this covers all the basics -- you get 3 different levels of output, a sleep timer, and an auto mode that tries to keep the humidity level around 60%. This does also report the humidity level and its pretty close to my thermometer/hydrometer. This has a light that is fairly soft and could be used as a night light; theres several colors that you can cycle through. So far, while the output seems a bit less than claimed, it is shaping up to be a good humidifier -- Ill update my review in a month or so to reflect how easy or not it is to clean and keep running.

> 3 dayThis is a solid humidifier, works very well as a humidifier with features like LED lighting, minimum humidity auto on/off, and is very easy to refill with a top fill source, The lid does need somewhere to rest as it will drip but there is a slow pour area on the top of the humidifier, no need to take off the lid. No need to bring the wet reservoir to a different room, just pour it into the container! But there are also multiple flaws. Ive lived most of my life with a humidifier in the winter because, also living in an apartment, humidity in the winter is dry, easily down to 15-20% constantly. The refill contrainer is large, 5L, which lasts two half days when using during sleeping time, about 8 hours from 10pm to 6am, at a constant 50% RH. Sometimes I top up the humidifier during the day on break, just because and its so much easier then taking the whole tank dripping all over the place to the sink. One aspect I dislike is the touch controls. My other air humidifier is the same design but a dial. This makes using really easy, turn and thats it. Not tapping, no making sure the buttons are pressed. As well, you cant add a smart plug to this so you can schedule when the humidifier turns on and off by itself. With a dial, you can preset it, with this, the smart plug just powers it but does not turn it on. The included remote makes it easier, though its just a small item for me to loose somewhere eventually.

28-11-2024This cool mist humidifier is amazing. It is very easy to setup and operate. It is easy to clean also. It works better than the other humidifiers that i have tried so i would definitely recommend this product.

Greater than one weekThis this is just a basic humidifier it work really well with out any essential oils. The concept of the essential oil doesn’t work well at all, you don’t add the oil to the water like others I used. For this humidifier you have a slot at the back of the machine you pull out and add the oil to a foam piece. It doesn’t work well at you can’t even smell your essential oils, so if your looking for one for this main reason this will not work for you.

27-11-2024Easy to fill, clean, and use. Large capacity ensures mist for longer periods of time without having to continuously refill. Also, larger openings mean less mess while refilling the unit. The colors are also fun, so would definitely recommend this unit.

Greater than one weekI initially got this to put in a small bedroom but have since moved it to the larger bedroom. It works really well at throwing the moisture into the air and does have 3 speeds as well as an auto mode. The only downside is the room I put it in is too small and even the lowest setting the humidity keeps climbing. It does have a sleep timer though so Ive resolved the issue by having it shut off while Im asleep. In a larger room this isnt an issue and the humidifier functions perfectly. The only reason I knocked a point off my rating is because this is going to be a huge pain to clean. The basin that the water fills in will clean easily, but the part the steam comes out of is not going to clean much at all. I know from experience that it will likely mold over time if I dont keep it clean. I will say this seems to be a universal problem with humidifiers though.
