Was worried about getting after market non hepa filters so we ordered these. Great quality and are hepa certified. Fit was perfect. You get all 3 filters and set of 4 pre-filters to change every quarter. Only buy actual Honeywell filters or you will be sorry. The others are not actually Hepa filters.

I had one Honeywell hepafilter before the pandemic and now I have five. The hospital iCU I worked in for 30 years used Honeywell hepafilters and then we put it a whole unit hepafilter for 60 plus beds. The 3 filters and 4 pre filters are a bit expensive for each one per year but I love having my hepafilters to capture anything in my home.

The filters seem well made, the odor filter change time is 3 months ,while the main filter can be 1 year.There are enough or the odor filters for a year. will buy again

Having pre-cut carbon pre-filters is so much better than cutting them yourself. With the HEPA filters, you only need one box per year.

People that buys air filter are either wanting to live healthier or have respiratory issues. So when the air filter smells like gasoline ... it defeats the purpose of improving air quality. Some other review seems to be running into the same issue. I was hoping I would get a different batch... but nope, same batch. I aired it out by putting in front of a fan x 48hr and under the sun for a few hours. The smell becomes undetectable after that, but do not know if it is still off gassing. It does not put the mind at ease when using it.

After much research, I originally ordered the best generic version of these. Bad idea. The outer (black) macro filter was the right shape but less fine than Honeywells. But the generic version failed because the HEPA filter did not fit snuggly, letting all sorts of particles be drawn through the admittedly very small gaps, but then were talking REALLY small particle. The net effect was to make the rooms air worse by blowing the particles around. These work perfectly. The outer filter is finer and the HEPA filters fit very snug; in fact they are a bit difficult to insert because they are so snug. The unit is once again working great. So, yes, these cost more but they are worth it. Absolutely buy these IMHO.
