The pre-filters were so folded that they gap and dont fully cover the HEPA filters as they should. Also some are noticeable thinner than others. (See the last two photos to compare). The quality of these pre-filters is very inconsistent. I understand they have to be folded to fit in the box, but that renders the inner two filters of every box USELESS. I purchased Honeywell brand because I wanted quality (vs. a knock-off brand) and was disappointed with the quality I received anyway. Are these just old and have been stored in an Amazon warehouse for a long time and thats why theyre so folded (due to the weight of the other filters sitting on them)?! Possibly. Either way, I wish these were either packaged better or stored better, and it would be nice if the filters were all the same thickness.

I have mixed luck with Honeywell Hepa filters. It seems some batches do not smell. And some batches just smell. You can leave them outside for days and they still won’t outgas. I wish they would take this seriously.

I used to get this only on the Honeywell website. Very expensive. I was happy to find it on the Honeywell store on Amazon. We only use genuine Honeywell filters for our Honeywell air purifiers and those filters can get pricey. Honeywell website charges a hefty shipping fee chunk on top of the price of these filters.

I thought this was a good deal, until I opened it up late at night - to find that while the R size filter fit perfectly, the A size was at least double of what was needed. Given that Honeywell sells the correct size separately, I am completely baffled why they would include these oversize sheets and then mislabel them as A filters.

These work very well in my air purifier!

Having pre-cut carbon pre-filters is so much better than cutting them yourself. With the HEPA filters, you only need one box per year.
