Worth it. Get these filters as replacement. I tried the cheaper ones and they smelled terrible.

I love my hepa filters. So easy to switch out and they do the job.

I used to get this only on the Honeywell website. Very expensive. I was happy to find it on the Honeywell store on Amazon. We only use genuine Honeywell filters for our Honeywell air purifiers and those filters can get pricey. Honeywell website charges a hefty shipping fee chunk on top of the price of these filters.

For this to be one of the top rated air purifiers on CR it sure is hard to find this item for the HPA300. Much easier to find the kits for the smaller 2 filter model. Anyway, considering the price of buying the whole unit, the replacement filters seem very overpriced at 80 bucks. The unit does work well. I’ve been using these Honeywell’s going back over 20 years. They were cylindrical back then. I actually liked that design better and the hepa element would last 3 years vs 1 year on these. Much more cost effective. It seems now that everything made has built in warning lights and timers telling us it’s time to spend more money on filters! Fridge is the same. Same with my thermostat. Seems a bit wasteful and a money grab by manufacturers.

Trust in Honeywell. Only gripe is the pre-filter is not precut, but not a big deal to measure and cut. Not worth complaining about, only stating for sake of disclosure.

Great value for replacing filters.

Odor control doesnt seem to work. In fact sometimes after running for awhile it creates and emits a smell that wasnt originally there.
