For the price I paid of roughly 150 dollars you cant do better.

The power button and all of the controls are on the back of the monitor, not even near the edge so you can sort of reach under or around to get to them. Its like someone intentionally placed them in the hardest to reach location. Im frustrated that I cant easily turn these off at night when I want to shut down or put my computer to sleep. Other than that, theyre fine. The tiny bezels mean theyre very nice side by side. They seem bright and crisp and so far Im happy but I havent played anything intense on them yet.

Bought this to replace my LG G-sync certified monitor when it was clear (at the time) I was not going to get my hands on an RTX 30 Series card at an even remotely reasonable price anytime soon (yes this was months ago). Its picture quality may not be quite as good as the previous but it works as expected and came at an excellent price well below what I paid for the device it replaces. Fast forward, im still not buying an Nvidia card now after the money already spend on RX, so itll remain my daily driver for work, gaming and general browsing for the foreseeable future.

It was time to upgrade from my 24 inch AOC. I was looking for something around $200 that was bigger and more fit for gaming since I have start playing more. Id say this monitor is perfect for everything! Flat monitors tend to have better quality displays 27 inches is perfect for just about anything, work, gaming, movies Refresh rate of 165Hz is awesome, I definitely notice the difference with gaming Color and brightness are awesome, works perfectly for work (design work) I dont normally order stuff that doesnt have Prime delivery but after searching around, this was the best choice. I highly reccommend!

Picked this up after it went on sale for $209. It was a big upgrade for me; previous monitor was a 23 720p TV, so to have a dedicated monitor was nice. HIGHLY recommend going the 1440p route for a monitor this big. Ive tried it out in 1080p, and it does look grainy. Colors are great. Really, this is a great monitor. Super easy setup and no calibration needed.

I personally love this monitor. I dont really have much to say. Pros: - Affordable. Can get it on sale for a steal. - Decent color accuracy out of box. - Brightness is pretty decent. - Comes with both HDMI and DisplayPort cables out of the box. Which is uncommon in my experience. Cons: - No USB hub. - This monitor has a display lottery. You may get one of two types of panels. People online argue a lot about which one is better, but realistically both will suit the needs of most buyers. However, if youre very picky (or rely a lot on reviews) its iffy on whether or not itll apply to your purchase, since most reviews are only based on one panel type or the other. All panels are still IPS, still 1440p, still 165hz. the difference is mostly color accuracy and color grading. Look into it if that concerns you, otherwise I can pretty much assure you that the experience will be solid.

Its a very fast monitor. No ghosting. The problem is that I guess I got unlucky and got a panel with a depressing amount of glow. 80 percent of the screen constantly glows. Pretty bad. Its not a deal breaker for me though, and everything else is solid.

The HP X27q Gaming Monitor has already been a game changer. Going from a 21-inch 1080p(FHD)/60hz to a 27-inch 1440p(QHD)/165hz is amazing. Not only I’m getting more screen space due to higher pixel count but its significantly smoother. The IPS panel with HDR also makes this screen much brighter and more color accurate. The overall look of this monitor is premium with super slim bezels and good adjustment options for height and tilt. The size and viewing angles allow me to use it as a TV sometimes when watching streaming content. I gamed a few times so far and its far more responsive than my previous monitor. Great buy and value for the premium feature set. For gaming, 1440p is a sweat spot as it allows more FPS then going with 4k which would be far more resource hungry and personally at 27-inch your eyes would not notice much difference in detail. Be sure that your PC has a newer HDMI or DP versions to ensure you can use the 144/165hz modes.

I did my research, and this monitor is truly worth the price (i bought it for $234, including taxes). With this monitor at this price, it makes no sense to buy a secondhand monitor (which is what I was planning to do initially). Great colors. Great looks. The refresh rate is amazing. Its an IPS panel which is better than TN panels. The 1440p resolution makes things look insanely good. I am very happy with my purchase, but if that changes anytime soon, I will change my review. So far, I have had this monitor for a month and have 0 complaints.

All play, every day. We"ve redefined high definition gaming with IPS technology, 165Hz, 1ms response, AMD FreeSync™ Premium, and more colors than ever before.
