Yup - its ink. Expensive but it works. If it were cheaper I would have given it 5 stars. I suppose HP has to make its money somehow though since they basically give their printers away.

All I can say is that I have simply never had a problem with genuine HP ink. No damaged cartridges. No leaks. No streaks. No drying out. Ive been tempted to try the off brands to save money, but from what I can tell, its a crap shoot as to whether youll get a high quality cartridge, with high quality ink, that wont give you problems at some point. Id rather stick with what has always worked reliably for me. The XL cartridges do last a long time too. . I have 3 HP printers in my home network (one for each floor so were not having to run upstairs or downstairs to print), and I keep a stash of ink cartridges so I never run out. Works for me.

This printer cartridge had the hp labels on it. The one thing was it didnt have that tape over the tip. The printer threw an error that it was empty and I tried to do a return and it was accepted by the seller, but then realized it was saying the cyan was empty, not the magenta. So I cancelled the return. Seller is easy to deal with.

Never could get this cartridge to work. Usually buy refurbished cartridges. They have worked great. Need the ink in a hurry and ordered this on Amazon. Missed the return date. $30 ish dollars wasted.

Perfect replacement cartridge. This is a genuine HP factory cartridge and functioned perfectly. I learned long ago that refilled or re-manufactured cartridges never measure up to the genuine item.

Cant go wrong with HP. Dont buy seconds...knock off ink is simply inferior. Stick with the OEMs for ink cartridges. Theres a reason the knock-offs are cheaper, the simply do not work well. You Get What You Pay For.
