Greater than one weekdislike monitor screen qa controls takes time to figure out doesnt shut off when i shut down pc i like sliders on all controls and qa controls dont have them monitor actually was hazy when starting use ( actually became quite good after some time) likes no pixel damages easy to assemble screen quality exellent very good monitor for the money would i buy it again no it is a good monitor for normal use but not so good for gaming and watching sporting games and online videos ( but of course im a perfectionist so to speak) maybe after a while ill get used to this monitor So take this or leave it its cheap enough to try it and if you dont like (probably will though) then you can toss it and get a 120Hz or 144Hz refresh rate monitor. they will cost you alot more this is an up date i am down grading this item because i cannot stop the flickering.... also in watching football replays the action is a little bit distorted. I think the problem with this monitor is sis the response times.... any way i dont recommend this monitor for anything other than word processing definately not for watching videos or games online havnt tried playing dvds but suspect dvd may be ok note i just tried this monitor with a dvd player and i could tell the response time is a bit off... im not gonna use this monitor i probably will give it to someone dont like returning thru amazon my sincere appraisal dont buy ... spend the extra money there are some brands that are 2ms 144hz for 50 -70 $ more

Greater than one weekThe monitor looks a little thicker than I had imagined, but it feels solid. I liked that it came with the cover for the vesa mount bracket on the back of the monitor. Im not mounting it, so it covers the screw holes nicely. I had no intention on using the speakers in this since most monitor speakers are terrible. I was pleasantly surprised when I tested it out. They actually sound great for meetings, I can hear everyone perfectly through it. The display itself had a nice slim bezel. Its vertically adjustable which is nice for those of us who are using them as a second monitor with a laptop. For what Im using it for Im happy with it, especially given the price point. (~$135 when I bought it).

Greater than one weekI purchased this monitor for a very good price, and I learned why over time. The feature set is excellent for a low end monitor from a time tested (and sometimes found wanting) name. I know people who work for HP, and I respect them greatly. This monitor, not so much. It loses sync on PC wake 25% of the time, unlike my other monitors, and turning it off and on restores it. Ive tried drivers, different video cards, different ports on the video cards, and even different computers -- and it has this problem across the board. Next to my Motherboard brand monitor it looks dull. After spending a lot of time with adjustments, its still lacking in vibrancy, color accuracy, and contrast. It looks pretty good physically, so it would be an excellent choice if working properly all the time isnt required. If it worked reliably, it would be worth a good sale price, and this may be an issue unique to this monitor. All that said, if it was (yeah, repeating myself) reliable it would be good for a grandma computer, but not for someone who has several computers and can tell this is the least visually performant monitor of the lot.
