> 3 dayI was initially worried about getting a monitor for less than $200. But so far this is great. Simple buttons make it easy to use compared to the 27” monitor this replaced. The picture quality it fine but I just use it for work, no gaming. I can tell the slight difference in image crispness on my adjacent HP monitor that costs about $100 more, but I am satisfied with this cheaper one.

> 3 dayThe thin bezels and the matte finish are really nice. The speakers were a major bummer. The monitor either doesnt have good speakers, or there are no good drivers for mac. The audio quality is very bad (almost like playing audio on 16kbps bitrate) - especially, the base can not be heard at all. The sounds are damp like listening to them on an old 1970s radio player. Id definitely not recommend for tasks like watching movie, or playing games with the monitors speakers.

Greater than one weekI got an LG monitor and it arrived broken. The build quality seemed flimsy. This HP seemed better designed out of the box. Works seemlessly. Features are intuitive. It actually looks more stylish than the main photo. Only day one, but good so far.

> 3 dayI purchased a high end Dell PC for work but wanted a matching wide screen flat panel monitor. The Dell of similar specs cost 80% more money (way too expensive for what you get), so I went with the HP. I am very happy with my HP purchase. I had a HP flat panel many years ago that came with built in speakers but looks like HP discontinued it.

> 3 dayI work from home sometimes and didn’t want to spend a lot on a monitor. This ended up being a great deal. Almost wish I bought two.

> 3 dayI love this monitor! I work from home and need high-quality and large monitor space. This replaced an older monitor and what used to be my best monitor (I work with dual screens) looks awful compared to this new one. I am going to purchase another one as soon as I have funding available. Having speakers on the monitors is kind of a secondary benefit, even though I do not use it that often.

> 3 dayI am not a heavy monitor user. In fact, I have two home computers and this monitor failed at ten months with light use, on average less than half an hour per day. The backlights went out with the exception of one group at the bottom of the screen. I have a warranty replacement coming but only after over an hour of wasteful troubleshooting with an offshore agent over logmein. And the warranty isnt fun- you have to wait for a shipping box, then you send it back and go WITHOUT A MONITOR until they determine what you sent really is broken and decide if they will send you a replacement. Not impressed. I wouldnt buy this again. Update: Mindy Pollard posted an earlier review with pictures; they show the identical problem to what I experienced. The replacement monitor finally arrived- I went two weeks without a monitor thanks to this issue. I dont perceive this model to be reliable, which is disappointing. I used HP monitors at work for years with zero issues.
