I didnt realize how large 27 inches was until I started using this HP 27 inch monitor. I find it is almost too large for home use and wish I had gone with the smaller 24 inch I intended to buy. I bought this monitor solely because of the speakers that are built into the back. Few monitors offer that option (at least in my price range). I felt it was difficult for one person to put the stand together while trying to keep it all from falling apart. The way the stand attaches seems way more difficult then it need be..I almost sent it back but decided to keep it but Im still not 100% sold on it.

It arrived on time in good working order. Setup was very easy. This monitor is fairly lightweight. I came with 3 different cables: VGA, HDMI and DisplayPort (and also a 3.5mm stereo audio cable) so it should work with any computer made in the last 20 years. The image is sharp, clear, colors are very good. The menu buttons on the lower bottom of the bezel are pretty small, so it takes a bit of practice to adjust the settings. No software CD or download link for drivers was supplied. Windows 10 found it immediately and the monitor was set to the correct resolution automatically. There are hints that this monitor supports audio over HDMI, but that is not apparently a feature for use with computers, perhaps it works as a regular TV when connected to a streaming device or cable/satellite box, I dont know. It has worked flawlessly for about a month, so Im confident it is going to last a long time.

I purchased a high end Dell PC for work but wanted a matching wide screen flat panel monitor. The Dell of similar specs cost 80% more money (way too expensive for what you get), so I went with the HP. I am very happy with my HP purchase. I had a HP flat panel many years ago that came with built in speakers but looks like HP discontinued it.

This is a decent, reasonably priced desktop PC monitor. I only give it 4 stars because I personally prefer a much smaller monitor. I really like that is has speakers built in. My PC was a refurbished one that did not cooperate with separate plug-in speakers and I did try several models of stand alone speakers. I finally have sound! The only caveat is that Vudu movies are still almost impossible to hear through these speakers. Again, a personal preference. Vudu movies seem to be no longer compatible with any device. I can hear YouTube videos with no trouble. Further, I really like that the stand doesnt take up much room and I can store my Funko Pop figures, lotions, and dog treats under the monitor.

I bought this to use as an extended screen for my macbook pro 2019. HP monitors are supposed to work well with macbooks. The screen was so blurry and fuzzy that I could not read any document. I am returning this. It may be fine gaming or streaming and it was very easy to put together. The base of the screen is sturdy, too.

This is a really good and clear monitor. I ordered it to use at work to make all my stuff bigger than the ones they supply us. I am almost blind and can see so much clearer on this on. HP never gets it wrong with me!

UPDATE: I have purchased four of these units for the office. I am now being told by AMZ that I can not purchase any more due to imposed limits. I have been waiting months (15 days plus two years) to be able to update our office with replacement monitors. Now that staff is coming back to work I have hit another roadblock. Now I have to find another model/brand. Good thing I didnt promise more 27 units to others. Very Disappointed. Original review: We have been purchasing the HP 24mh monitors as replacements around the office, and I came across these HP M27ha models which are essentially just a 27 versions for the same price. The only downfall for both models is the lack of extra USB ports like you find on higher end units, but we can work around that. My folks are please with the extra real estate.
