> 3 dayThe item was broken and blinking red when arrived. Manufacturers warranty was also out when attempting to get support. HTC and Amazon were very understanding and walked me through troubleshooting steps before reaching a return. Have since purchased another and it works flawless. It even connected to my PC through bluetooth automatically, which the previous one never did.

Greater than one weekThis base station is $50 more than what steam is selling it for and it does not come with -ANY- mounting hardware or even screws. You gotta do what you gotta do but they are clearly taking advantage of the current situation.

> 3 dayI ordered two base stations and it came quickly and was packaged well. When I got everything out and plugged up is when red flags showed up. One of them had the number ‘7’ and the word “loud” all over the sides in sharpie. The other sounded like a jet engine when plugged in. Both flashed blue for a moment then red, meaning critical hardware failure. On the plus side, returning them was easy.

> 3 dayLet me start this by saying I don’t know if this is the products fault, Amazon’s fault, or both. I bought two to begin with earlier this year as an upgrade from the 1.0 models. Let’s call them #1 and #2. They have worked perfectly fine since buying them. Now after a few months I have expanded my play space and decided to buy two more stations. They arrived and #3 worked perfectly but #4 had a blinking red light from the beginning. Hardware malfunction with no fix. Had to get a replacement. Once that arrives, I plug it in the have the same issue. A third base station and I finally have a working one. Then after about a week of playing with all four, #3 which seemed to be working fine, starts to show a blinking red light with no one touching or moving it. I have a replacement for #3 on the way as of writing this. Hopefully this one works when it gets here and stays working.

> 3 dayWas not functioning when it arrived and was throwing out error codes as soon as I turned it on, but on the plus side, they never received my return. Next time Ill just set $200 on fire.

> 3 dayWorth the extra 50$ cause valve unable to stay instock or ship within the 1week window and paying 200$ for each too get em 1 or 2 days on time instead of waiting the long 2-3 mouths anyway going from og vive base stations 1.0 to 2.0 huge improvement uses bluetooth to update the hardware easy set up easy to do from the pc change the base stations channel on the pc and not move or touch the base stations to update or fix note be sure to turn off base stations when your done using em so they last longer hope this helps all questions buyers have

> 3 dayHavent been able to use the one I got yet because they are not compatible with the first generation base stations. Dont expect to buy only one and have it work with the old ones you already have. Buy two.

17-11-2024It was a choice between getting it here for $200 or from valve for $150 + weeks waiting. It just comes down to how much you value your time but its the exact same thing.
