A film we can all relate to. Can you go home again? Maybe, maybe not. A well written and superbly acted film, shot in scenic Upstate New York. The cinematography was eye catching. Life is not about what happens to you but how you deal with it. You’ll find yourself connecting to the characters almost immediately. Check out this gem of a movie today.

Great film about a pair of cousins reconnecting over family matters. As a fan of Hal Hartley films and movies like You Can Count on Me and The Station Agent, this film by Sean Daniel Cunningham had me feeling the same vibes! Immediately you connect with the characters. I love that the story meanders through the day with quirky encounters and happenings, peppered throughout with the clumsiness that both cousins share. David Neal Levin, who plays Hudson, is fantastic and I really hope to see him again...and hopefully in another Cunningham film. I watched the movie twice and its definitely worth the rewatch to pick up on all the little details.

Incredibly honest acting, real moments, and a heartfelt ride which will make you laugh, cry, and feel. Beautiful shooting locations, subtly metaphoric moments mixed with comedically improvised one-liners. Skirts that line between quirky and heartfelt perfectly.

As someone named Hudson I have a lot riding on this film. Luckily, its incredibly funny and charming and smart and sweet and memorable and just so well done.

Movie highlights some beautiful views of Central New York in the fall. A feel good movie with a great cast. I really enjoyed the movie!
