Charges very slow!!

I know that most of us are very careful with the products we pick to use with our smartphones, being that smart phones are very expensive and fairly delicate devices. Aslo, a bad charger can actually ruin our cell phone. even a charger that does not hurt our phone can be a problem for us because some car chargers are very slow and therefore have very little benefit. that being said that I have only had the opportunity to use this particular charger two times. I bought it because my friend and I were going on a very long out of town trip to Joshua Tree national Park and once youre inside the park you have no cell reception so the battery drains quicker, and I wanted to use my astronomy app which uses GPS which also drains the battery. Both my friend and I plugged in our Android devices into this charger and this charger does work as advertised, it charges very rapidly without issue. The charger did not get hot, its sturdy, USB connected nice and snug.

We recently went through two extended power outages in the California Bay Area. During the first one, we had no way to charge our phones, which left us entirely cut off even from emergency messages. So we ordered this charger and it now lives in the car. It works flawlessly and were quite happy with it. As a bonus, every fifty customers find an offer in the package offering a free second charger: and we got one. They do ask for a review but stress the free charger doesnt depend on it. And for certain, wed have given a good review in any case. I would buy this again.

So far it works as advertised. My only complaint is that it pops out of the charging port quite easily. There are many times that I am driving and I have my phone plugged in to charge only to find out that it didnt charge at all. The bumps of the road tend to jostle the charger and it falls out of the charging port. This is the only charger I have owned where this happens. A minor annoyance that I am willing to deal with.

Very impressed with the build quality, particularly the sturdy metal casing and well-machined electrical contact points. Two USB sockets also very firm and sturdy. Very high quality product. Only minor complaint is that the charger works its way out of the charging socket over time, but I have yet to find a single DC car charger that doesnt. Positive, but minor point: The orange-on-black color is very attractive, yet it lets me easily see where to plug in cords in dim light. I now have bought one of these chargers for every car I own. I have purchased similar products from other makers, and none has nearly such high quality.

This car charger is wonderful!! Purchased this as a present for my boyfriend and he loves it! It feels very high quality and gives a super fast charge. I purchased an AmazonBasics cable to use with it and they work well together. The box I received also had a voucher for a free charger. It states there is one voucher in every 50th box and it must be redeemed with your Amazon order ID. I just redeemed this offer and it was completely free. Just had to verify my order ID and address. I cant wait to receive another one for myself
