i bought this product for my new tattoo because my tattoo artist recommended it. Worked amazing on my tattoo and healed super quick. i also had bleed having try hands that would bleed from how dry it was it helped with my dryness.

I have only used A&D and Aquaphor in the past but decided to try it. It has helped in healing new tattoos and I had very little flaking or scabbing. I bought a second tub for maintenance and future work, it has also brought ink that is 30 years old back to life. Only used in 2 times a day and it keeps from drying out.

This is a great investment after you spend a lot on your tattoo. It goes a long way and I absolutely love the smell of it. Would buy again

Some of the credit goes to the tattoo artist as they weren’t heavy handed but wow this cream! It smells great and our tattoos healed wonderfully. A little goes a long way. I really love this stuff. The first picture is right after the tattoo was done and the second picture (the best one I have) is after the tattoo healed. I have many tattoos and have used many different things and this cream/lotion is by FAR the best! I recommend this to anyone and everyone! I will continue to use this to get my tattoos a fresh up!

A Little goes a long way. Not real greasey, leaves my tattoos looking new with a nice low shine, and smells nice too.

This is the first time I have used anything other than fragrance free lotion on my tattoo. I loved this product. Used 2 days after tattoo throughout whole healing process. Kept my tattoo from drying out, wasnt itchy, and was easy to use. Feels a little thick when first taking out of jar, but I just dabbed it on a couple spots then went back and smoothed it over entire tattoo with no problem. I will be using this for all my tattoos moving forward.

Tattoo Goo Pros: Scent (I like it, Eucalyptus-y?) Easy to spread. Thicker than a lotion but easy to spread even on freshly inked sensitive skin Perfect for travel or taking to work/wherever you may want something during a long day Seems good for color Cons: Scent (it has a scent, many products dont and you may not want a smell) Expensive. Over $11 an ounce, even doing thin layers it doesnt last terribly long for larger areas. The cost per ounce and how long it lasts and why I took off the star Lubriderm Pros: Very inexpensive and available everywhere. Im seeing $0.11 per ounce Easiest to spread as its a water based lightweight lotion Scent free, leaves no residue or stickiness or tackiness Great for freshly healed, long term, non tattood skin, any dry areas, if you are only going to get one for cost or simplicity get this one. Cons: None really. It is thinner being a lotion and whether there is anything to it or not, on a fresh tattoo that needs healing I prefer something heavier, a balm or ointment, to feel like Im leaving a slight protective layer (very slight) vs it all just absorbing in and being done. But really, absorbing in and being gone is probably what you actually want so Lubriderm is just really good especially long term as it doesnt leave any perceptive residual residue Hustle Butter Pros: Vegan, Scent Free Color pops (might be psychological) Feels the most protective when applied to a fresh tattoo Feels like it stays around and lasts longer per application Con: Much harder to spread than the others, difficult to get full coverage on larger pieces especially without irritating the skin with the amount of pressure and work needed to spread the product out thin enough. On a fresh tattoo I feel like Im either irritating it with too much spreading, or its on too thick. I dont use it on fresh ones any more due to this. Price is middling at $4.75/oz right now, not bad Aquaphor Pros: Price is very good at $1.35/oz right now, and its available everywhere in different sizes Easy to spread, yet thicker and feels more protective than a lotion. Goldilocks consistency Scent Free Cons: Leaves a little more residual residue than you might want for regular long term use, I think Aquaphor is exceptionally good for fresh and healing tattoos but Lubriderm lotion is my favorite for regular long term use.

I’ve tried several different products for healing tattoos and to be honest my favorite is just plain lotion. This product does work, it has a subtle smell to it, it is slightly greasy but not too bad. The 5oz is enough for a full body suite but I also like to use product like this to heal other small wounds so a little extra won’t hurt. I think it’s a good product to buy.

It’s interesting because most of the reviews say that the scent isn’t too overpowering but I would say that’s the only negative thing about it. I can deal with the smell since it works and does a great job but once my tattoo is healed I’ll have to move on to something else that has less of a smell. The product is great though, sensitive nose people- work through it as it’s worth it
