Greater than one weekWith this product I can stop using A&D Ointment or Aquaphor for my tattoos! It feels amazing, smells good & it helps them heal, I highly recommend this! You’ll love it & the results.

> 3 dayA friend of mine told me about it a few tattoos ago and I do not use anything else, this stuff smells amazing, feels good and soothes the itch of a fresh tattoo! The tulip is a few years old, the rose is a year and the pansy a week. I used hustle butter on all of them! Love this stuff! I also use it on my hands, feet and mom stretch marks!! Smells great and leaves my skin feeling hydrated and soft!! A little goes a long way once you get it warmed up!

Greater than one weekSince aquaphor changed their ingredients this is the best stuff Ive found for my tattoos. It has a really good smell also. It doesnt rub off or stain your clothes which is a definite plus.

> 3 dayTattoo Goo Pros: Scent (I like it, Eucalyptus-y?) Easy to spread. Thicker than a lotion but easy to spread even on freshly inked sensitive skin Perfect for travel or taking to work/wherever you may want something during a long day Seems good for color Cons: Scent (it has a scent, many products dont and you may not want a smell) Expensive. Over $11 an ounce, even doing thin layers it doesnt last terribly long for larger areas. The cost per ounce and how long it lasts and why I took off the star Lubriderm Pros: Very inexpensive and available everywhere. Im seeing $0.11 per ounce Easiest to spread as its a water based lightweight lotion Scent free, leaves no residue or stickiness or tackiness Great for freshly healed, long term, non tattood skin, any dry areas, if you are only going to get one for cost or simplicity get this one. Cons: None really. It is thinner being a lotion and whether there is anything to it or not, on a fresh tattoo that needs healing I prefer something heavier, a balm or ointment, to feel like Im leaving a slight protective layer (very slight) vs it all just absorbing in and being done. But really, absorbing in and being gone is probably what you actually want so Lubriderm is just really good especially long term as it doesnt leave any perceptive residual residue Hustle Butter Pros: Vegan, Scent Free Color pops (might be psychological) Feels the most protective when applied to a fresh tattoo Feels like it stays around and lasts longer per application Con: Much harder to spread than the others, difficult to get full coverage on larger pieces especially without irritating the skin with the amount of pressure and work needed to spread the product out thin enough. On a fresh tattoo I feel like Im either irritating it with too much spreading, or its on too thick. I dont use it on fresh ones any more due to this. Price is middling at $4.75/oz right now, not bad Aquaphor Pros: Price is very good at $1.35/oz right now, and its available everywhere in different sizes Easy to spread, yet thicker and feels more protective than a lotion. Goldilocks consistency Scent Free Cons: Leaves a little more residual residue than you might want for regular long term use, I think Aquaphor is exceptionally good for fresh and healing tattoos but Lubriderm lotion is my favorite for regular long term use.

> 3 dayThis cream is the REAL DEAL!!! It does exactly what you need and want if youre getting a tattoo. I got a 2 hour tattoo done yesterday and a 1 hour refresh of my 20 year old Dragon tattoo as well and when I got home I gently washed both and let them air dry for about 20 minutes then I applied Hustle Butter and my tattoos look and more importantly FEEL AMAZING today! I will keep using this stuff for the rest of my life its phenomenal....and Ive already recommended it to all my friends who have tattoos. It not only helps with new tattoos but it makes a Huge difference in maintaining your tattoos forever....Plus its an awesome price and you get a LOT of cream considering you only use a little bit at a time to gently cover the tattoo this stuff does so much with just a little dab....but I cant imagine getting a tattoo or keeping my tattoos looking perfect without Hustle Butter! This stuff deserves a thousand thumbs up!!!

> 3 daySome of the credit goes to the tattoo artist as they weren’t heavy handed but wow this cream! It smells great and our tattoos healed wonderfully. A little goes a long way. I really love this stuff. The first picture is right after the tattoo was done and the second picture (the best one I have) is after the tattoo healed. I have many tattoos and have used many different things and this cream/lotion is by FAR the best! I recommend this to anyone and everyone! I will continue to use this to get my tattoos a fresh up!

19-11-2024For my tattoo after care I have used tattoo goo, regular lotion and most the the time Aquaphor. I liked tattoo goo but it is not ideal for larger tattoos because it is hard to spread around, constantly having to apply regular lotion isn’t fun either. Aquaphor is great in that it lease the tattoo feeling hydrated for the longest time, on the flip side I hate how it lease you a sticky oily mess and I hate how heavy it feels. And Aquaphor just kind of sits on your skin once it get wiped off it’s gone. This butter is somewhere between tattoo goo and the Aquaphor. It had a seems really thick at first but melts really nicely with your body heat. It applies really evenly and smoothly and leave my tattoo feeling hydrated without feeling heavy and greasy. I just woke up after applying it last night for bed and my tattoo was still hydrated it didn’t dry out. I will be using this for my tattoo after care from now on.

> 3 dayTo be fair I will start by saying I have all heavily shaded black and grey tattoos, but the cream was not too bad. It definitely hydrates the tattoos but other than the first hour or 2 it doesn’t hold that fresh tattoo shine. But it is a good choice for tattoo hydration and has a really nice scent. I’m sure color tattoos would have a different outcome.

> 3 dayThick, so careful if your ink is fresh. Works great on old ink.
