> 3 dayAfter reading the description, I thought this was a very cool product. It is very easy to set up. I tested it before I installed it. The floodlight is very sensitive, I just waved my hand, it was on immediately. The flooding light is much brighter than I thought. Night vision is great and I can see the things in the dark very clearly. It will be perfect if the price is lower and it can use 5G network.

08-06-2025I am very satisfied with the floodcamera. The price is reasonable. You cant find the 2k camera with this low price. Its very easy setup. The solar panel adjustment can be improved.

> 3 daySetup for the camera was a breeze since I already own other cameras that use the CloudEdge app. The quality of the 2K QHD is excellent, both during the day and in the dark when the spotlight is triggered by motion. I am slowly replacing my current cameras with cameras that have a light that is triggered with motion. I have yet to find where I can adjust the night mode as the image is not great in the night without the light. Maybe it is intentional as a battery saver until the light is triggered by motion as the light uses up the battery life. A new feature with this model is the spotlight which is bright but the brightness is adjustable. At its brightest, if you have many triggers in the night, you might want to consider lowering the brightness if you are not using the solar panel charging to allow the battery to last longer in between charges if you are not using the solar charger. The unit is smaller than other brands that have a spotlight feature so this a plus for me. You also have the option to add the siren, though the app has it labelled as buzzer. Trust me, it is not a buzzer, it’s a siren but not as loud as some of the sirens on my other cameras. It would be great if there is an option to set a time, when everyone should be asleep, where one can have the siren activated instead of mere activation by motion. The motion sensor is adjustable and I had to adjust the camera angle to pick up motion within the coverage range. It is best to make minor tilt adjustments and have another person trigger the motion to test the coverage range. There is no tilt/pan option with this camera but you can adjust the tilt so the camera will pick up motion in the field that you want, this can be done be loosening the nut and rotating the camera but the nut is in an awkward position because of the size of the camera. With this price point, I think the tilt/pan option should be included. The description has an AI motion option but the quick start guide indicated that that option is not available until a later software release, I sure hope they would release that software upgrade soon as I like to be able to filter by “person” so I am not looking at all motion alerts. For this price point, this option should be available. There is no subscription fee for event storage so if you have micro SD card with plenty of memory, you will be able to view past events going back a few weeks which is a nice feature. There is a cloud option which has an initial free trial period which I did not activate. I removed one star for the lack of the tilt/pan option and the lack of the AI option to filter by “person” though the guide said that feature will be added later in the year. Having said that, I would recommend this camera.

Greater than one weekThis is an average floodlight camera option. In the description it is mentioned the range is 50 feet, in reality, in my instance, it is about half of that, and even in the owners manual it states the range is 30 feet. For some reason the range I am experiencing is at best 25 feet and below. Support has responsive, but what they are suggesting is not resolving my issue. 50 foot range is misleading. Picture quality is good, wireless working well. Mounting options are limited, so keep an eye on on your mounting location and how this is limited in how it pivots. Average camera, average results.

Greater than one weekSetting up the camera was a breeze since I already own other ieGeek cameras. It literally took less than 1 minute to set up the camera. I am slowly replacing my older ieGeek cameras with the newer versions that have the light feature. I like that the camera holders and the screw holes are standardized so there’s no need to drill new holes. The spotlight feature allows you to address the intensity of the brightness and you can adjust how long the light stays on, from 10 seconds to 10 minutes. It’s nice to have the solar panel but the wires are black and my stucco is white so it kind of stood out. I would prefer if they have a built-in arm so you can mount the solar panel directly on top of the camera which is aesthetically pleasing to the eyes and no black wires running against a lighter background. For the recording management, you can select your zone so that you get less alerts if you have a lot of activity in a certain area, like on the sidewalk. I installed my camera to overlook my driveway as I prefer to know who is coming before they get to the house. I initially had it covering the street so I can see the cars but that changes the range/angle of motion detection and I kept getting alerts and the light would come on - I set it so that the light comes on when there is motion. So I adjusted the camera motion range to only capture activity in the driveway. I wish there is an option to toggle between auto and night vision as currently the night vision is black and white. My photos show what it looks like without the light and with the light (at 75% brightness), as you can see, the trash cans are visible in the B&W. The daytime picture quality is sharp, better than the night vision. I have not been able to figure out how to add my other cameras so I can view them simultaneously which is a plus, the description said you can view up to 4 cameras simultaneously. I am still playing around with the camera but overall I am happy with my purchase.

> 3 dayRecently purchased my first home and naturally I want to see anything and everything at all times. Realizing this requires cameras and power and internet and fees, coming across this camera was a lifesaver! Not only is it a flood light (that i desperately needed) but the camera makes it the perfect product for my home security setup. We also had to place it in a section of the house that doesnt have power hooked up - not a problem for this camera. AND with the solar panels, its staying charged. I also went ahead and added the SD card for video storage and now im not incurring any monthly fees. Basically this is the perfect product and I plan on buying several more. Thank you ieGeek!

> 3 dayI really like this solar cam. I bought 2 of them for more security at home. I’ve install one on my front porch and the other in my alleyway. I like it so much because even at night it still detect and flashes the light to view in color. Nice and the best the alarm system. I hope it come with internal memory to save the videos or better yet if you could save all the videos on your phone.
