I purchased this kit late last year as I began exploring needle felting. I did not want to purchase anything expensive until I knew whether or not felting was for me. Since then I have become a serious artist and will be exhibiting in a gallery in June. I have purchased many different needles from a number of companies, including some 32 gauge needles. I use a needle felting gun and work more than 10 hours a day. These needles hold up better than any other I have found. I keep returning to these needles time and time again because they are sturdier than any of the others. This is a definite choice for beginners and more experienced people alike.

Everything came in the kit as stated. The box was in good condition. Shipped overnight. The only thing I noticed was what another reviewer said about the needles leaving marks. Having read that review I wiped the needles and inside the tubes down with alcohol before using them. Im guessing its oil residue from the production. The needles appear to be as sturdy as any other Ive used before. Id recommend this kit to others. Happy Felting.

Why is there a pin sticking out of this handle? Rest of the kit is perfect but this looks like a way to torture someones hand.

The tools are almost perfect. My one desire is that the needles need to be labeled; thin, thick, star shaped, large barbs, triangle... The kit is great! Sarina

Im uncertain about a professional using these, but as a Novice, which I can attest to, this kit is very nice. You get 3 different sized needles, leather finger protectors ( I suggest you wear them if you’re new at this!) cutting shears( they are very very sharp) straight pins, a larger awl, to help make deeper holes, and a tool with many needles attached. This kit is a great place to start, really fun!
