> 3 dayWow, I find I am listening to this infectiously great album over and over in the car. It only gets better! After ten years they have hit the bull eye in spades! Rarely do I like every song on an album but you will find yourself whistling the tunes all day. This album has gotten rave reviews and rightfully so. The band and lead singer are on their game like never before. This is far and away their best work ever!

> 3 dayWe went to see The Mavericks last night at Knuckleheads in KCMO. Have been a fan for over ten years now, and Raul and the band stepped it up another notch with this album. Dance in the Moonlight will not let you keep your feet still. Come Unto Me, Back In Your Arms.....the list goes on and on. Personal recommendation....BUY THIS CD.

> 3 dayI (69 years old) have just recently become an avid listener/fan of The Mavericks music after stumbling on to it via Sirius XM Radios Outlaw Country station. Pros: Senor Malos singing voice is incredible, the upbeat and diverse variety of the great songs, and the drummer really keeps things on track. Cons: Well below average/compressed recording quality of this CD on my high end sound system. The background horns and other instruments have an unpleasant sizzling bacon quality; disappointing given the great music. G. Miller -- Phx. AZ

Greater than one weekHad I not been watching the season finale of Dallas, it is highly unlikely that I would ever have heard any of the songs by the Mavericks. The Dallas episode ended with Come Unto Me, and I have been hooked on that song ever since. I immediately purchased the CD and to my delight, the English and the Spanish versions are included in the compilation. I love this whole CD -- yes, every single song! I read that In Time is a compilation that marks the ten-year reunion of The Mavericks. Simply stated, this CD is superb. When I hear Raul Malo sing, I am reminded of Roy Orbison with a hint of Jose Feliciano. If The Mavericks earlier music and performances are anything like In Time, then I declare that its about time for this CD! Thanks for this great music, as it was definitely worth the wait.

Greater than one weekWhat an amazing album! It behoves me to say this but there is so much genre-locked country music out there, that genre-defying bands like The Mavericks are in the minority. We have been besieged by bland & uninteresting groups & singers whose albums lack life, spontaneity, adrenaline-driving music, & just plain good fun, for so long, that country music has become a stagnant oasis. Ok, change in style is good, and down through the years we have seen great changes in country music, but the last 5-10 years have been so boring. With exceptions like Toby Keith, Martina McBride, Dwight Yoakam, Trace Adkins & the like, the majority of todays country artists, are not really country at all - they are either pop cross-overs, or pop/rock singers unable to make it in the world of rock music. And so much of their songs are like hand-me-downs from the Nashville Sound era. So thank God we have The Mavericks! This Tex-Mex influenced band makes music to be enjoyed, music to dance to, music that makes you feel alive. And boy, do they do it with style. As a group, their presentation is flawless; this is a band that works, with each member complimenting one another & providing the perfect backing for Raul Malos magnificent vocals. Damn, but the man CAN sing! And every song on the album gets 5 stars from me - theres not a bad track on the album, which is a lot more than can be said for many of the other country albums Ive listened to this year. Can you imagine the likes of Keith Urban, Carrie Underwood, Taylor Swift, etc., etc., getting out of their comfort zones & trying to do an album that swings like this? I dont think so! I only hope that the radio stations & the country music shows will give these guys the time & exposure they deserve, so that everyone will get the chance to see & hear them. Welcome back guys, & thank you for the listening experience of the year.
