Infant Optics DXR-8 PRO Add-on Camera (Not Compatible with DXR-8), White

Great product for your little ones! We have two and these work great and are safe from any hackers through wifi. Awesome product!

This camera will not stay connected to my monitor. I have another one that works perfectly but we use this one when traveling and different locations in the house. It won’t keep a connection. Very frustrating for the money.

I know the picture quality is great and easy to connect to existing system.

This camera, paired with the original monitor set is fairly easy to set up and connects well to the monitor. The scan feature between the different camera views is convenient and transitions fairly smoothly.

We wanted a NON Wifi camera option and went with this one after a friend recommended it. The picture quality is very clear and the night vision and zoom function work great. The noise reduction feature almost completely reduces the noise from the white noise machine in the room too. I will say though the battery life on the monitor could be better but not a deal breaker. The charging cord for the monitor is very long so we just leave ours plugged in.

This was perfect for me and my family. I love how big the screen is, the zoom feature, and that it can pair with up to three other cameras. I also like the security of it not being connected to Wi-Fi and know that my child is safe. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was the temperature feature is off. At one point it said our son’s room was 76, but we placed another thermometer in his room and it read 3-4 degrees cooler. So while I wish the temperature was a little more accurate, it’s not enough for me to say this isn’t the best camera out there.

We had an old monitor (Motorola) we liked that after 7 years finally kicked the bucket. We bought another monitor to replace it and while it was highly rated, it was a pain in the rear to switch between cameras (we have 3), a feature we use frequently. So many steps. Did a lot of research and found that the infant optics has a super simple one button switch between cameras. Just received it and so far so good!!

I finally have time to write this review. We purchased one of these back in 2016 with birth of our 1st son and absolutely loved it. Even wrote a great review about. Now with the birth of our 2nd child, we immediately went to purchase the same thing again. But weve been having nothing but trouble w/ the power supply. They changed the power supply, which has proven to be a lower quality item (in spite of them advertising it as an improvement), and as I tried to get support (I didnt have much time as I expressed to the support reps that my child was born w/ a congenital heart issue and we were buried w/ medical appointments), the level of push-back I received from their support was ridiculous (including not even being able to address their emails to the correct person). After many emails of them making ME troubleshoot THEIR PRODUCT, they finally sent me a replacement, with a bunch of hurdles for me to jump through. Great! I receive the new product. Time to move on? NOPE! Now the new product makes a loud humming noise. I again reached out to their support and again, THEY WANTED ME TO START TROUBLESHOOTING IT AGAIN!!!! At this point, I became beyond furious and told the rep to just not contact me anymore. Im beyond this company. From my experience, they felt the need to fix something that wasnt broken. And their support team is anything but supportive. I would not recommend this product nor this company.

Don’t even read any of the bad reviews! Listen to mine, this is the best camera/a for your babies! U can add up to 4 cameras and u can move the camera around different mounts for it. Sounds it perfect even has a setting to cover background noise!

I’ve even had the Nanit… and this is by far my favorite camera. I love how easy it is to use and you can add on additional cameras for multiple babies.
