Upgraded from the OG i7-4790k and the upgrade is massive. The price for the performance is amazing. Great for Gaming.

This thing is a monster. Runs a little hot, but with the proper cooling this beast can be pushed to its limits. Worth money and watch for sales.

Processor runs reasonably cool, typically 20c less than my GPU on the same water-cooled loop. I installed Windows 11, and it shows 20 cores. Benchmarking with RDR2 shows a laughable difference from an I7-6700K, which is a 7 year old processor; it was 2-3fps on average. Its all about the GPU folks, the CPU after 7 years makes just about 1% difference.

I can see this dominating AMD for the near future. OCs to 5.3GHz without much effort.

Great CPU. Although the rated tdp is 190w at peak and 125 for typical tdp, during normal everyday usage, my own setup consumes about 25w without GPU. I am surprised how little power this thing consumes while having the capability to provide the power I need when I need it. I pair this with scythe Fuma 2 rev b, at 17C ambient, the temperature was 66C during max load. Everything is much faster compared to my old i7 hq6700 rog laptop.

Building new setup to replace laptop since I dont travel for work anymore.

Estuve mirando mucha información antes comprarlo y hasta el momento ha funcionado muy bien, lo mejor es que la versión KF prácticamente no tiene diferencia en rendimiento VS la versión K, y es casi 100 dolares más barata
