Paired with a 3090ti, holds up perfect. Cannot find a game that can’t handle high-ultra settings.

It would be nice if theyd kept the same mounts as 1151 or at the very least included a bare minimum push pin cooler while you wait for a bracket adapter for your water cooler but that aside the performance is astounding even with older GPUs like the 1070

Compared to the 12900k this thing is an icebox! Very acceptable gaming performance as well as traditional multithreaded workloads. Pleased with this professor generation’s i7.

Upgraded and this is lightning fast. Takes overclocking super well

Just make sure you find the appropriate cooler that comes with the hardware you need, the noctua nh-d15 does come with it for sure. It’s been fantastic for me and I do not regret my purchase

This processor is great for pc users who are looking to get great performance without breaking the bank on an i9. This processor is great for gaming and general use. highly recommend.

Processor works perfectly. Chose this CPU over 5950X based on price, purpose (gaming), and support for DDR5 and PCIe 5. I am glad I didnt spend more to get the i9 as I havent really maxed out this i7. First time using an LGA, so I had to read the instructions and watch a video. I did not overclock the CPU yet as I dont need to, but nice to know I can. Runs quite cool at base specs.

Been using Ryzen for the last 3 years, I upgraded from Ryzen 7 3700X. This is such a great cpu that could easily last the next 5 years.

I chose ddr4 3600, 16 Cas because ddr5 doesnt benefit gaming at this point.
